Just Phonics books: Juniors pg 76-79, Seniors pg 70-73 (Feel free to complete more pages if you want)Reading: -Junior infants Continue with core readers Continue with activity book-Senior infants continue with readers from previous weeks (children that availed of the rental scheme: if you still have your copy of Stop that dog/What’s in the box? could you please send it back to me in September, many thanks)Writing: Seniors: A way with words Unit 16: Holidays (pg 70-73)Juniors & Seniors: aim to do 1 page of handwriting in your book each day, if you are finished the book then you can do some free letter writing in your copies.Oral Language:Seaside: Here the children have access to a little story, song and poem about the seaside along with some vocabulary games to play.Maths: Junior Infants: complete pages 106-112 in maths books (days of the week, number combining). The last topic to be covered is money. Junior infants learn about 1c, 2c and 5c coins. If you have an old jar of money at home let them explore the coins and if they want to complete the pages in the book then work away. Senior Infants: complete pages 88-93 (number 10, combining and partitioning) in maths books. The last topic in the book is money. Senior infants would be introduced to 10c and 20c coins. If they would like to work on these pages in the book then feel free. I’ve attached some helpful ideas for money at the end of the document for both classes.
