We trust that you had a restful time with family and friends during festive season and you are rejuvenated, re-energized and geared up for 2020. We wish you a wonderful year of productivity in your scholarship endeavours. Below are updates of the association activities.1.MembershipWe request that all members renew their membership before 31 March 2020. The renewal fee is R350-00 for individual members and R150-00 for student members. Your membership runs from January until December. Members can use our online platform to renew their membership. School Directors/Head of Departments are requested to renew their institutional memberships and invoices will be sent to departments. Members will receive confirmations of their fully paid-up status. It is important that members ensure that they are issued individual membership certificates. 2.Journal of Public AdministrationJournal of Public Administration (JOPA) remains a preferred and a top journal in South Africa that adheres to its quality process. This year, the prestigious Journal celebrates its 55 years of existence. We would therefore like to encourage members to form part of our planned and exciting celebrations which we will announce in due course. Our online article portal was created in 2019 as part of the efforts to enhance our submission and tracking the status of submitted articles. As always, we appreciate the work done by our reviewers who assist our editors maintain the necessary rigorous peer review process. Our authors are updated on a regular basis on the progress of their articles.
