If you’ve already started the GED® test, you’re almost there.

The current version of the GED® test expires at the end of 2013

and your scores will expire too if you don’t finish and pass the test by then.

You have until the end of 2013 to pass or you will need to start over again in 2014 with the new GED® test in order to earn a Maryland High School Diploma.

Some tips you should know about testing in Maryland prior to the end of 2013:

Application deadline for new/first time GED® test takers is September 16, 2013.

Application deadline for retesting GED® test takers is October 31, 2013

GED® candidates are eligible to test three (3) times between January 1 and December 31.
