Spring Break
School will close for Spring Break from Friday 24/3/17-Saturday 8/4/17 inclusive (2 weeks). School will be open on week days throughout the Break, 8am-2pm, for admissions & fee payment, & also on Saturday 8/4/17 8am-1pm for convenient T3 fee payment. T3 fees are due by latest 9/4/17. Thank you.
Tuesday 9th May
Deadline to pay AED500/- seat booking fee for September 2017. This is non-refundable in any case, but deductible against T1 fees. It can be paid only once full year's fees have been cleared. No Payment Plan for T3 fees & Seat Booking Fee beyond May 9th, if you want a seat for next year.
Sunday 10th September 2017
As per MOE calendar, first day back for students for the new academic year. Full T1 fees need to be cleared before any child is assigned a class. No Payment Plans for T1. Please clear T1 fees before 10/9/17 so your child can join class from the first day. Thank you.

Congratulations to the WSS Gymnastics team; for the first time WSS won 3 medals in inter -GEMS Gymnastics championship, held at Wellington Academy on 3/2/2017. The PE team's hard work for the last 2 months has yielded victories! We congratulate Bena Mohammed, Gana Nazer,and Cameela for their fabulous performance. Thanks to Mr. Sumosh and Ms. Sheema who supported, & of course the parents who came along to support.

G1/D1's important assembly on `Taking care with Water'
Muhammad Muzzamil (G3/D2) felt concerned regarding Global Warming, so for a first step he tried doing his part by making a poster to raise awareness among his classmates. He discussed these issues with his class teacher Ms. Susweta, and all his classmates promised to start planting and recycling and stop trashing. His idea was to let everyone know that "GEMS Westminster School ,Sharjah is trying to lessen Global Warming. This poster is a small start for his big ideas, to encourage us to do all we can to at least spread awareness. Well done Muhammad Muzzamil for not only being concerned about your environment, but for taking action too!!
