Additional Degree Requirements

● The successful completion of an approved course of study in a major of which at least 60% of the credits must be taken at The City College. A final documented major check must be secured from the department major advisor.

● A final documented check of all degree requirements must be secured from the divisional office approximately 2 semesters prior to the estimated graduation date.

● A minimum overall and a major GPA of at least 2.0.

● The successful completion of 120 credits.

● Residency requirement: completion of 84 credits at The City College; OR, the last 32 credits at The City College.

● Students will not be permitted to take any course for which pre-requisites have not been fulfilled.

Choose appropriate coursework to fulfill General Education requirements by noting the Perspectives you have not fulfilled. Symbols attached to course offerings in the Schedule of Classes will indicate whether they may be used to fulfill your outstanding requirements; for example, if you have not fulfilled the United States Society perspective, when you register be sure to select a course with the symbol (US).
