General Education Curriculum

Revised Spring 2013 Effective Fall 2013

The General Studies Advisory Board reviewed the general education (GE) requirements and has made appropriate modifications to the GE requirements to ensure the curriculum is relevant to the educational needs of our students and comparable to the requirements of other institutions in the UNC system.

The review which took place over several months, with appropriate representation from all schools and academic departments, yielded the changes set forth in this document. The changes have been properly vetted and approved by the following bodies:
