COLLEGE APPLICATION PROCESS

for Rowan College at Burlington County

1. Complete a Record Release form (found in the Guidance Office).

2. Go to rcbc.edu

3. Click “Apply to RCBC”

4. Answer each question “No” that is presented and then click “Apply Now”.

5. For question #11, answer “NO – Currently attending high school” for “Are you a high school graduate?” Select Rancocas Valley from the drop down menu in #11. Enter your graduation month as “JUNE” and enter your graduation year too.

6. For question #14 – Enter “FULL-TIME STUDENT” and “DEGREE-SEEKING STUDENT” if you wish to be eligible for any financial aid.

7. Be sure to hit “SUBMIT” when you have finished the application.

8. Log on to Family Connection. You can log-in via the RV website under the Guidance tab. See your guidance counselor if you are unable to log-in.

9. Go to the “colleges” tab and “Colleges I’m applying to” list in Family Connection and select “+add to this list”. Select College (using lookup) and scroll down to select Rowan College at Burlington County. Check the box “I have submitted my application” and then “Add Colleges” on the bottom of the page.

10. Complete the College Application Transcript Request Form (pink) and turn it in to your counselor.

NOTES:

*RCBC does not require the SAT; however, they do require you to take an Assessment Test. If you have taken the SAT and earned a score >450 on the Critical Reading and/or a score >500 on the Math portion, you are exempt from that section of the Assessment Test. **You will need to have your SAT scores sent directly to RCBC through the College Board website (). RCBC is listed as “Rowan at Burlington County” on the Send Scores section on the College Board website.

*After you submit your application, you will receive an email from RCBC with your Student ID # on it. You will need this number to take the Assessment Test.

**If you complete the application and take the Assessment Test you are eligible to go on the Spring Ahead bus trip out to RCBC in the spring to register for classes.
