How did you meet your pet? Was it love at first sight?

Right after Christmas we wandered into a pet store and found such a cute and cuddly cat that we just couldn't resist. The agency was so glad to see a young couple adopting a cat instead of a kitten, and I think my husband was even more excited as he turned and said, "Thanks for my Christmas kitty!"

It only took a photo of a 3-day old puppy for me to fall in love. On New Year's Eve my husband and I took a four hour drive to pick her up. We quickly learned why English Springer Spaniels are known as "Velcro Dogs," as Georgia Mae refused to leave our side. Not much has changed since!
