Partial Tuition Scholarship Application

Scholarship applications are accepted on a rolling basis. Only complete applications received by the deadline will be considered for scholarship. Scholarship awards are strictly for tuition. Awards are based on financial need and academic merit. Applicants are responsible for confirming with the Semester in Washington Program receipt of all scholarship materials.

Summer priority deadline: May 1 Fall priority deadline: June 1 Spring priority deadline: November 1

Documentation

1. Complete and submit the online Semester in Washington Program application including all required documents.

2. Submit the following for scholarship consideration to semesterinwashington@georgetown.edu:

* A financial aid award letter from your home institution for the academic year, if applicable

* Essay (two pages or less):

a) explain how you will contribute to the learning environment in the classroom and why you think you will

succeed in the internship.

b) describe any financial needs that you may have in funding your enrollment in the program and state a

scholarship amount you are seeking (note: only partial tuition scholarships are available for Summer,

Fall and Spring).
