Tuition and Fees for Fall and Spring Semesters, 2020-2021
Billing Dates and Payment Deadlines Fall Semester will be billed on July 16, 2020 and will be due August 10, 2020 Spring Semester will be billed on December 17, 2020 and will be due January 11, 2021
In compliance with Virginia state law, students classified as in-state undergraduate students who enroll at a state educational institution August 1, 2006 or later will be assessed a tuition surcharge for each semester after 125% of the degree requirements for their program has been completed. The amount of the surcharge for academic year 20-21 is $362.25 per credit hour. Established by the State Council for Higher Education in Virginia, it is equal to 100% of the Average Cost of Education for the institution less tuition and mandatory Educational and General Fees for in state undergraduates. Please refer to the Office of the University Registrar for additional information and exemptions to the surcharge.
Immigration Services Fee: Degree seeking students with F1 or J1 visa status admitted beginning Fall 2018 are assessed an Immigration Services Fee of $275.00 per semester. For international graduate students on assistantship, the fee will be remitted.
All Tuition and Fees are subject to the university's existing refund policies and procedures. Students should review their account upon adding or dropping courses.
Degree seeking graduate students enrolled in virtual courses are charged on-campus rates unless they are in a program approved for delivery on a virtual or extended campus basis.
