RRF is partly implemented by Oxfam Germany (the Employer) through Oxfam Uganda intends to apply part of the fund to cover eligible payments under the lumpsum contract TD 20/ 002/ ARU-UG for Construction of OCEA Water Supply System in Rhino settlement and Host Community in Madi Okollo District.2.Oxfam Uganda now invites sealed bids from eligible and qualified bidders for Lump Sum Contract TD 20/ 002 / ARU-UG for Construction of OCEA Water Supply System in Rhino settlement and Host Community in Madi Okollo District.3.The construction period is: 4 months from the start date.4.Bidding will be conducted through the National Competitive Bidding (NCB) procedure specified in the KFW Procurement Guidelines (Guidelines for the Procurement of Consulting Services, Works, Plant, Goods and Non-Consulting Services in Financial Cooperation with Partner Countries, January 2019) , and is open to all bidders from Eligible Source Countries as defined in the Bidding Documents.5. Interested eligible bidders may obtain further information from Oxfam Uganda and inspect the Bidding Documents at the address given below from 09.00 – 12.00 hours and 14:00 to 16.00 hours East African Time from Monday to Friday.6.Qualifications requirements include: Average annual financial amount of construction work over a period of last three years of at least Uganda shillings 1 billion.To check compliance, the gross total income from audited books of accounts for the last three years shall be divided by three. For Joint Ventures, the summation of incomes for the JV partners shall be used.Participation as contractor, management contractor, or subcontractor, in at least one contract of a nature and complexity equivalent to the Works, with a value of at least Uganda shillings 700 million of similar nature (water distribution network and reservoir construction) within a period of last three years (to comply with this requirement, works cited should be at least 70 percent complete by the firm).Essential equipment required for the project:Sr. NoEquipmentQty1Supply Truck 4- 10 ton capacity12Concrete mixer with poker vibrator13Service Van1Liquid assets and/or credit facilities, net of other contractual commitments and exclusive of any advance payments which may be made under the Contract, of no less than Uganda shillings 200 million.The availability of liquid cash evidence for evaluation purpose should be consistent bank balance (provide banks statement for the last six months). Civil engineer Contract Manager/team leader (Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering with 10 years’ experience in water system designs, project management and contract management) at least two years with the Company 2. Site Engineer (Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering with 05 years’ experience in water system designs, project management and contract management) at least 1 year with the Company.7.A complete set soft copy of Bidding Documents in English may be obtained by interested bidders through email requests from the address below or through Oxfam link.8. Bids must be delivered and received in hard copies, sealed to the address below on or before 18th June 2020 at 14:00 Hours East Africa Time. Electronic bidding shall not be permitted. Late bids will be rejected. Bids shall be opened physically, immediately after bid submission deadline, in the presence of the bidders or the bidders’ representatives who choose to attend in person, at the same location as for bid submission.
