UNIT 3 TURMOIL AND TRAGEDY 1933-1945World War II Group Presentation In a group of three or four, research and present on a topic on World War II. The topic will be assigned in consultation with the students/group. Refer to page 4 for a list of potential topics.Presentation RequirementsDocuments/PowerPointThe presentation must be conducted using Power Point. The slides must contain written and/or visual documents (maps, photos, charts, diagrams, reports, etc.) with captions that identify the documents. The documents may be both primary and secondary sources. The notes on the slides should be minimal and concise except for statistics, quotes, journal excerpts, etc.VideoThe presentation must contain short video clips from documentaries that support the description of the topic. Scenes from films may be used in conjunction with the documentary video clips. First Hand AccountThe presentation must include first hand accounts – the experience of individuals involved in the event/ development – from a letter, diary entry, journal entry, memoir, audio or video interview. Popular Culture: Song/Literature/Art/FilmThe presentation must incorporate a song, poem. short story, novel excerpt, artwork, or film scene that represents some aspect of the topic. Outline/NotesStudents must use an outline/notes during the presentation. Works Consulted/SourcesProvide a works consulted listing the sources used to obtain the information, documents, videos, first hand accounts, song, poem, short story, novel excerpt, artwork, film scene, etc. and any other materials used on the last slide of the presentation tool.Participation Each member of the group must contribute and participate equally in the presentation.
