2017 Board of Directors Elections Coming Up

SBEA is currently sitting at 8 board members and wants to work towards getting back to a board of 12 board members. Serving on the Board offers an opportunity to play a direct role in determining an organization's overall direction and impact. The 2017 SBEA Board of Directors election is coming in November and they would like to see active members feel and take ownership of part of the great association they are part of. Now is the time to start thinking about possible candidates to fill the 4 open positions. All candidates must have been a SBEA member in good standing for at least 1 year prior to the date of their nomination. Nomination forms will be available starting September 25 and accepted from Sept. 25 - Oct. 13. If you have questions about what a Board member does and their obligations please call Trish at 522-2996 or contact a present Board member. Their email addresses are on the SBEA web page under about / about SBEA.
