PBL: Project Details – “Scrooge: An Altered Life”WEEK 9: Dec 14-15, 2020PERFORMANCE-BASED ASSESSMENT: CREATE YOUR OWN EVIDENCE SLIDE-SHOW OF THE ALTERED LIFE OF EBENEZER SCROOGE BASIC REQUIREMENTS:Background: In the drama, A Christmas Carol: Scrooge and Marley Act I & II, three Ghosts visit Scrooge and force him to re-evaluate himself. Scrooge learns that being a covetous; miser will not make him a happy, good person. An individual as mean and cold as Scrooge is able to make a sudden change in his life. PBL: A Turning Point can cause a significant change in someone’s life. Turning Points are critical times in life where big decisions could lead to big change. The Ghost of Christmas Past, Present, and Future help Scrooge transform. This transformation is his Turning Point; Scrooge becomes a better person. In this project you will describe three scenes where each Ghost shows Scrooge a lesson that encourages him to transform. You will illustrate your own “Altered Life of Scrooge” using a digital format – PowerPoint, Google Slides, Microsoft Office, Storyboard That or ANY format that you are comfortable using. Directions: Create a 5 slide digital presentation in which the Ghost of Christmas Past, Present, and Future show lessons to Scrooge of having friendship, family, or a kind spirit which ultimately leads to his Turning Point/Transformation.Select a digital platform of your choice (PowerPoint, Google Slides, etc.)Slide 1: Introduce the presentation with a title, your name, an image, and an introduction that answers the essential question: What can cause a significant change in someone’s life?Slide 2: Describe a scene the Ghost of Christmas Past takes Scrooge to visit which shows a lesson from his past that eventually leads to his transformation.a.
