The 3rd annual Fox Trail PTSA Family Fun Fair will be held on Saturday, March 1, 2014 from 11AM-4PM. This event is sponsored by the PTSA and, in addition to being super fun; it will serve as a fundraiser for our school. We are asking classrooms to donate a themed basket for the Fair's raffle. These baskets can be completed jointly with another classroom or individually. We will be asking for donations for the baskets, which will be raffled off at the Family Fun Fair to raise money for Fox Trail. We are asking each room parent to coordinate the basket project and to work with each teacher to make it a successful group project. We hope each basket is wonderful and unique.

Attached are some ideas for your class basket theme.

Also, below is a guide/timeline for the raffle basket event:

1) Please brainstorm and have fun with your class to come up with a unique and fun basket theme. Please provide the theme of your basket to your room mom no later than Thursday, January 23rd, 2014.

2) The teacher and the room moms will be provided with a pre-approved letter (attached) to send home with all the students outlining the project, informing the parents of the theme and seeking donations. Please ensure this letter is sent home with the students no later than Thursday, January 30, 2014. The students should be given a week or two to bring the donated items into class. Teachers please keep all the items together for the room moms to pick up.

3) Once the collection period ends, we are asking the room moms to retrieve the items and put together the basket (unless the teacher chooses to complete it). Please attach a label or tag to the basket with the theme name, classroom information and the contents of the basket. Please deliver the basket to the school office by Wednesday, February 26, 2014.

Please note that participation is purely optional and, if you are concerned about participation or are short of room parent participation please consider joining in with another classroom for a joint basket.

Please help support our school by donating a NEW & UNWRAPPED item for our class basket. Each class basket will be raffled off at the fair to raise money for Fox Trail.
