Pendleton's Original Westerley gained fame as the essential wardrobe of Jeffrey Lebowski, the "Dude", played by Jeff Bridges in the 1998 movie, The Big Lebowski. Since that screen debut, the sweater has become the signature of "Dude" cultists across the US and beyond. In 2018 the movie will celebrate its 20th anniversary and the Original Westerley will again be center stage.
