RECREATION CENTER INFORMATION

PARK PERMIT

Our Recreation Centers and Parks are a great venue to hold meetings, birthday parties and special events. The Recreation Centers include amenities such as meeting rooms, kitchens, picnic shelters, multi-purpose fields and gymnasiums. All park users must obtain a Park Use Permit five (5) days in advance for any equipment in the park (e.g. jumpers, generators, canopies, etc.).

MOVIES IN THE PARK

Our sites will be hosting a FREE fun filled Movies in the Park this summer. Each event will provide arts and crafts, outdoor games and more. Contact the hosting site for more info. Featured Film's TBA (PG). All movies will be featured at dusk.

REGISTRATION

Registration for all classes is on a first come, first served basis. We accept all major credit cards. You must register at the Recreation Center where your class is scheduled or on-line at . Registration fees must be paid by the first class of the session/month. Participants that have not paid by the second class will not be permitted to participate until fees are paid. To find your class use the Activity # listed in this program.

Summer Season: fees for 3 month classes are valid from June 1-August 31. There is no prorating. Registration starts May 14, at 10:00 am. A liability waiver, photo and birth certificate are required when registering for youth sports.

TEEN CENTER

Teenagers are invited to play air hockey, ping pong, video games or just hang out with other teens in a safe and structured atmosphere. A monthly calendar of activities is available at the Center. This FREE program for children ages 12 to 17 years.

YOUTH SPORTS--BASEBALL/SOFTABLL

TEEN NITES

Fun developmental baseball league with games played against teams from neighboring City of San Diego Recreation Centers. Players will learn the fundamentals of ball control, catching/throwing, passing, hitting and base running. Jerseys will be provided for game day. Transportation is not provided for away games. Children may not participate in club or other soccer programs during the season.

Team placement based on age cut off July 26, 2022.

Season Dates: June-August Days: Practice and game schedules will vary. Ages: 8?10 years; 11?12 years; 13-14 years; 15-16 years RE South Bay/Montgomery-Waller/Silver Wing: Fee: $25 per season

Join us for our FREE Friday Teen Nite's!! Friday activity calendars are available at each site and include a variety of activities and field trips such as: movies, craft activities, indoor and outdoor games, special events, sport activities, on-site rentals and field trips to fun locations throughout the San Diego area. Dinner will be provided to all teens. Lets us make it a summer to remember!!

NO MAKE-UP CLASSES/REFUND POLICY Classes are not offered on holidays. Refunds are issued if the class is cancelled by the City, or partial refund of 97% if refund

request is submitted more than 3 days prior to first meeting, and 75% if submitted less than 3 days prior to first meeting.
