2022 USTA Junior Tournaments Ranking System

Effective January 1, 2022 The USTA's nationwide competitive system establishes uniformity across all 17 sections and into one, simplified structure. Tournament levels range from intermediate Level 7 tournaments all the way to the National Championships at Level 1 with specific draw formats contained within each level. In total, 11 different draw formats can be offered to provide positive experiences for all players at various tournaments, keeping in mind that not all options are available at all levels. The types of draw formats are listed below and also color coded to easily find corresponding point tables. Please note that any changes to the 2022 points table are not retroactive to 2021 tournaments. Find and register for USTA Junior Tournaments at tournaments.

Players earn points per round for Levels 1-5. In Levels 6-7, players earn points per win and no player shall earn ranking points for playing more than 4 matches in approved formats. Note that for Level 7, only compass is approved. For Level 6, only compass and modified feed in are approved.
