ELECTRONIC POLICY ISSUANCE ADDENDUM
E-Docs - ELECTRONIC DOCUMENT ISSUANCE PROGRAM
E-Docs is Global Aerospace Inc., General Aviation’s new electronic policy issuance program in which contracts of insurance, endorsements, certificates and other policy related documents will be sent to you by email.
A. Acceptance of Policy Documents
You agree to accept receipt of contracts of insurance, endorsements, certificates and other policy related documents (“E-Docs”) prepared by Global Aerospace, Inc. (“Global”), in accordance with the system requirements set forth in Paragraph (C) below. Global will send E-Docs to the email address you designate below. No other copy or acknowledgement will be sent to you.
B. Transmittal of Policy Documents to the Named Insured
You accept delivery of the E-Docs from us on behalf of the Named Insured and assume all responsibility for any necessary transmittal of the E-Docs to the Named Insured. You will not alter, modify, waive or change any insurance contract or document, in whole or in part.
C. System Requirements
You will access E-Docs as PDF documents. The minimum standards are:
1. an email address, and
2. Adobe Acrobat Reader software, 6.0 or higher.
D. Revocation
Your acceptance will apply until consent is withdrawn. Withdrawal of your consent must provide for at least two (2) calendar weeks notice and shall be sent to Global Aerospace via email to beaproducer@global-. You may also notify Anthony R. Moschetta, Senior Vice President, General Counsel at amoschetta@global- or by calling 973-490-8576.
E. Miscellaneous
You agree to maintain records with respect to your delivery of policies and agree to make those records available for inspection by Global at reasonable times.
Some insurance policy related documents may not be available through E-Docs. Availability of any document may change from time to time, and is subject to change without notice. If Global cannot transmit a particular document to you through E-Docs, we will provide it to you by regular mail.
Availability of the electronic service at any particular time cannot be guaranteed and as a result service is provided on an “as is, as available” basis.
In no event will we be liable for any special, indirect, or consequential damages, or any indirect damages whatsoever, including, without limitation, loss of use, data, profits, or anticipated savings, arising out of, or in connection with any use of, or the performance of, the electronic service.
