Special Instructions for theBraille Edition of theMCAPGrade 4 Mathematics Practice TestGeneral Comments:Braille pages are numbered sequentially in the lower right-hand corner. A Special Symbols page is included to identify various symbols which may not be commonly known to the reader.A Transcriber's Notes page is included within both volumes to explain special format and layout of information. Running head is “MCAP Math 4.”Items including tactile graphics include “(TG)” at the end of the comment. Items including tables include “(BTC)” at the end of the comment.A period follows each answer choice letter. This test is divided into two volumes. Volume 1 contains Sections 1 & 2, and Volume 2 contains Sections 3 & 4. Specific Comments: Section 1Page 2Directions modified to read:Section 1(Non-Calculator)Directions for Test-Taker and Recorder:Today, you will take Section 1 of the Grade 4 Mathematics Practice Test. You will not be able to use a calculator.Read each question. Otherwise, write your answer as directed by your test administrator. If you need to change an answer, be sure to erase it completely, cross it out, or start a new line.
