Introduction

In the Bible we see different periods in which God dealt with man in a different scenario in a different way. The purpose of this is to show that regardless of the circumstance that man is given by God, man fails.

Now the Bible can be divided up into seven periods or dispensations. In each period man’s circumstance is different. However, regardless of what period man is in after man loses his innocence, salvation is always through the blood of Jesus. The Bible teaches dispensational obedience, that is what God requires of man varies from period to period.

However, it never teaches dispensation salvation. Salvation is always the same throughout the Bible according to Acts 10:43. Now in each period God makes a promise to bless man if he fulfills what Gods says. However, judgement follows each period after man proves he has failed. God is fair. He gives man a chance to prove himself as good.

Unfortunately, man fails every time.

Rom. 3:4 God forbid: yea, let God be true, but every man a liar; as it is written, That thou mightest be justified in thy sayings, and mightest overcome when thou art judged.

When the day of final judgement arrives, no lost person can point his finger at God and say, it wasn’t fair, I never had a chance, well if my circumstances were different I would have gotten saved and served you, etc. God is always right man is always wrong as the Bible proves.

Now the material presented in this book is not exhaustive. It just provides the reader a brief outline of what is going on in the Bible as well as making a few applications to Christian living today. I pray you will get a blessing out of it and it will encourage you to serve the Lord Jesus more.

The Age of Innocence

Now the Age of Innocence is found in the first three chapters of Genesis.

In Genesis chapter one, we have the creation of the world in six literal days. Everything that God had made was good. It was a sinless and perfect environment. It was the ultimate paradise. There was no death or sorrow. On day six, after God had created everything else, he created man. Man was created a sinless creature with a body that would live forever. Now the test here is that in an environment where man with has no knowledge of sin and a perfect environment, will he choose what God says?

Gen. 1:26-27 And God said, Let us make man in our image, after our likeness: and let them have dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the fowl of the air, and over the cattle, and over all the earth, and over every creeping thing that creepeth upon the earth.

:27 So God created man in his own image, in the image of God created he him; male and female created he them.

Now man did not evolve over millions and millions of years. He was created in God’s image. Adam, the first man, was created as a full grown man with the ability to reproduce. Eve, the first woman, was created from Adam’s rib with the ability to reproduce. God created man with a purpose. His job was to have dominion over all the earth.

Gen. 1:28 And God blessed them, and God said unto them, Be fruitful, and multiply, and replenish the earth, and subdue it: and have dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the fowl of the air, and over every living thing that moveth upon the earth.

Man was to reproduce and fill the earth with people and control it. He is over the animal kingdom. He did not come from an animal.

Gen. 1:29-30 And God said, Behold, I have given you every herb bearing seed, which is upon the face of all the earth, and every tree, in the which is the fruit of a tree yielding seed; to you it shall be for meat.

:30 And to every beast of the earth, and to every fowl of the air, and to every thing that creepeth upon the earth, wherein there is life, I have given every green herb for meat: and it was so.

Now Adam and Eve as well as the animals were all vegetarians.

Gen. 1:31 And God saw every thing that he had made, and, behold, it was very good. And the evening and the morning were the sixth day.

There was no death in the age of innocence, because there was no sin in the world.

God made everything good. Man was perfect, but he had a freewill that was untested. He did not know the difference between good and evil.

Gen. 2:5-6 And every plant of the field before it was in the earth, and every herb of the field before it grew: for the LORD God had not caused it to rain upon the earth, and there was not a man to till the ground.

:6 But there went up a mist from the earth, and watered the whole face of the ground.

Now the conditions of the earth were like a greenhouse. There was a protective ice firmament around the earth. Water came up from the ground, like a sprinkling system.

There were no seasons and the temperature was constant all year round. There was no sickness or pain, for sin had not entered into the world.

Gen. 2:7 And the LORD God formed man of the dust of the ground, and breathed into his nostrils the breath of life; and man became a living soul.

We see that God created man full grown, with a body(dust), spirit(breath of life), and a soul.

Gen. 2:8-9 And the LORD God planted a garden eastward in Eden; and there he put the man whom he had formed.

:9 And out of the ground made the LORD God to grow every tree that is pleasant to the sight, and good for food; the tree of life also in the midst of the garden, and the tree of knowledge of good and evil.

Now God created several trees in the garden of Eden. However, God created two trees specifically to test man. The first tree was the tree of life. If you ate of it, you would get eternal life, and live forever. The second tree was the tree of knowledge of good and evil. If you ate of it, you would lose your innocence, and die spiritually and fall into condemnation. It is the same way today.

Gen. 2:15 And the LORD God took the man, and put him into the garden of Eden to dress it and to keep it.

Man was given a job to do which was to take care of God’s garden. Christians today our given a job to do, take care of God’s commission, which is to preach the gospel of salvation, baptize converts, and teach others how to live godly.

Gen. 2:16-17 And the LORD God commanded the man, saying, Of every tree of the garden thou mayest freely eat:

:17 But of the tree of the knowledge of good and evil, thou shalt not eat of it: for in the day that thou eatest thereof thou shalt surely die.

Now Adam had a choice, to do what God says to get eternal life(eat of the tree of life), or reject it and die spiritually(eat of the tree of knowledge of good and evil). Today, we also have two choices, accept Christ as our Saviour and get eternal life, or reject Christ and die and go to the lake of fire.

Gen. 2:18-20 And the LORD God said, It is not good that the man should be alone; I will make him an help meet for him.

:19 And out of the ground the LORD God formed every beast of the field, and every fowl of the air; and brought them unto Adam to see what he would call them: and whatsoever Adam called every living creature, that was the name thereof.

:20 And Adam gave names to all cattle, and to the fowl of the air, and to every beast of the field; but for Adam there was not found an help meet for him.

Now Adam named all of the land animals. He was very intelligent when he was created. This is because when Adam was created he was sinless. By the way, get sin out of your life and you will become highly intelligent, because then God can bless you with wisdom. Also, Adam did not evolve from a dumb cave man according to evolution. Now, one reason why God brought all of the animals to Adam was so to see if he could find a help meet or a wife. However, Adam could not find an animal that would be fit for a wife. It was not God’s plan for man to marry an animal. This is why beastiality or man having sex with an animal is a sin.

Gen. 2:21-23 And the LORD God caused a deep sleep to fall upon Adam, and he slept: and he took one of his ribs, and closed up the flesh instead thereof;

:22 And the rib, which the LORD God had taken from man, made he a woman, and brought her unto the man.

:23 And Adam said, This is now bone of my bones, and flesh of my flesh: she shall be called Woman, because she was taken out of Man.

Now, Adam was put under, like they do today in modern anesthesia and God took a rib from his side and made a woman, Mrs. Adam(later called Eve).

Gen. 2:24 Therefore shall a man leave his father and his mother, and shall cleave unto his wife: and they shall be one flesh.

It was ordained from the beginning of time, that a man should marry a woman. It was not God’s plan for a man marrying a man or a woman marrying a woman. That is why sodomy or homosexuality is a sin. Man and woman become one flesh. This is why fornication and adultery are sins. Sex is for the marriage bed only.

Gen. 2:25 And they were both naked, the man and his wife, and were not ashamed.

Like a newborn baby that comes out of the womb naked, he doesn’t know the difference between good and evil. He is innocent and not ashamed. The reason we are ashamed to walk outside naked is because we have knowledge of good and evil. We are accountable for what we know about right or wrong. Since we have sinned and are condemned for what we have done wrong, we need a Saviour. This is why a baby or small child goes to heaven when they die because they haven’t reached the age of accountability of what is right or wrong.

Gen. 3:1 Now the serpent was more subtil than any beast of the field which the LORD God had made. And he said unto the woman, Yea, hath God said, Ye shall not eat of every tree of the garden?

Now the devil or the serpent is the perverter of what is right. The first thing he does is cast doubt on what God says. Beware of people, priests, or preachers who don’t believe God’s word, the A.V. 1611 Old King James non-copyrighted Bible for the English speaking people, literally and try to cast doubt upon it.

Gen. 3:2-3 And the woman said unto the serpent, We may eat of the fruit of the trees of the garden:

:3 But of the fruit of the tree which is in the midst of the garden, God hath said, Ye shall not eat of it, neither shall ye touch it, lest ye die.

Now doubting God’s perfect word, leads to changing God’s word. God said nothing about touching the tree. Beware of these copyrighted modern versions(NIV, NASV, NKJV, NEB, etc.). They are written by men and they have mistakes in them. Even the publisher’s admit that there new version is not preserved perfect contrary to Psalms 12:7.

When you don’t believe the Bible is preserved perfect as it stands, you will doubt it and eventually change it. However, the Bible is not translated in pencil. God said it and that settles it.

Gen. 3:4-5 And the serpent said unto the woman, Ye shall not surely die:

:5 For God doth know that in the day ye eat thereof, then your eyes shall be opened, and ye shall be as gods, knowing good and evil.

Now Satan always shows you the pleasures of sin, but not the punishment of sin. It was true that Adam and Mrs. Adam would be smarter if they ate of the tree, but the bad news was that they would die spiritually. It’s the same way today. The devil’s crowd will show you the front side of the billboard which will promote smoking cigarettes, drinking beer or liquor, or gambling, etc. It looks like the thing to do. However, he doesn’t show you the harmful effects that smoking, drinking, or gambling will have on your life. A person can get cancer or bad lungs from smoking, liver problems from drinking, and bankruptcy or losing a lot of money from gambling. These bad habits are addicting(they will start controlling you and put you into physical and mental bondage).

Also, don’t forget the fact about the strain these addictions will put on your family, finances, and health in general. There is a reason why God said in the Bible, thou shalt not. It was for your protection. He created you and everything else. He is smarter than you. Why not listen to God’s word and be blessed.

Gen 3:6 And when the woman saw that the tree was good for food, and that it was pleasant to the eyes, and a tree to be desired to make one wise, she took of the fruit thereof, and did eat, and gave also unto her husband with her; and he did

eat.

Beware of the lusts of the flesh(good for food), and the lust of the eyes(pleasant), and the pride of life(be worldly wise). God says no for a reason. It is for your own good.

Gen. 3:7 And the eyes of them both were opened, and they knew that they were naked; and they sewed fig leaves together, and made themselves aprons.

So Adam and Mrs. Adam fail Gods test. In an environment where man with has no knowledge of sin and a perfect environment, will he choose what God says? The answer is no. As a result of rejecting God’s word, judgement follows.

Gen. 3:14 And the LORD God said unto the serpent, Because thou hast done this, thou art cursed above all cattle, and above every beast of the field; upon thy belly shalt thou go, and dust shalt thou eat all the days of thy life:

Now the serpent or Satan is cursed above all cattle. As a result, he must now walk around on his belly and eats dust.

Gen. 3:15 And I will put enmity between thee and the woman, and between thy seed and her seed; it shall bruise thy head, and thou shalt bruise his heel.

Now, there will be trouble between those who follow Satan(the serpent’s spiritual seed) and those who follow God(the woman’s spiritual seed).

Gen. 3:16 Unto the woman he said, I will greatly multiply thy sorrow and thy conception; in sorrow thou shalt bring forth children; and thy desire shall be to thy husband, and he shall rule over thee.

Now the woman gets pain in childbirth and is under the rule of her husband.

Gen. 3:17-19 And unto Adam he said, Because thou hast hearkened unto the voice of thy wife, and hast eaten of the tree, of which I commanded thee, saying, Thou shalt not eat of it: cursed is the ground for thy sake; in sorrow shalt thou eat of it all the days of thy life;

:18 Thorns also and thistles shall it bring forth to thee; and thou shalt eat the herb of the field;

:19 In the sweat of thy face shalt thou eat bread, till thou return unto the ground; for out of it wast thou taken: for dust thou art, and unto dust shalt thou return.

Now Adam has to work with sweat and sorrow to get food and his garden will also produce thorns and thistles.

Gen. 3:21 Unto Adam also and to his wife did the LORD God make coats of skins, and clothed them.

So God kills an animal and sheds his blood. The coats of skins are used to cover Adam and Eve from their sinful nakedness. That’s why Jesus(the lamb of God) shed his blood for us on the cross, so we can have our sins covered or forgiven forever.

Gen. 3:22-24 And the LORD God said, Behold, the man is become as one of us, to know good and evil: and now, lest he put forth his hand, and take also of the tree of life, and eat, and live for ever:

:23 Therefore the LORD God sent him forth from the garden of Eden, to till the ground from whence he was taken.

:24 So he drove out the man; and he placed at the east of the garden of Eden Cherubims, and a flaming sword which turned every way, to keep the way of the tree of life.

So as a result of sin, man is cast out of paradise or the sinless perfect environment. The only way a person can get back to paradise is get saved. Getting saved means to turn to God from your sins(repent) and put your faith alone in the shed blood of Jesus on the cross of Calvary alone. One must also believe that Jesus was God in the flesh and now has a resurrected body.

The Age of Conscience

Now the Age of Conscience is found in Genesis chapters 4-8. From the Age of Innocence, Adam and Eve were kicked out of the garden of Eden. However, they know have perfect knowledge of good and evil. They are perfectly educated. Therefore there is no need for a written Bible at this time. All they have to do is follow their conscience of what is perfectly right. The test here is given that man has perfect knowledge of right and wrong, will he serve the Lord?

Gen. 4:1-2 And Adam knew Eve his wife; and she conceived, and bare Cain, and said, I have gotten a man from the LORD.

:2 And she again bare his brother Abel. And Abel was a keeper of sheep, but Cain was a tiller of the ground.

Now Adam and Eve have the first two kids, Abel and Cain. Abel was a shepherd, and from the sheep they could make clothing. Cain was farmer, and from the field they got food. Now remember, the earth is still a constant temperature like a greenhouse.

Gen. 4:3-5 And in process of time it came to pass, that Cain brought of the fruit of the ground an offering unto the LORD.

:4 And Abel, he also brought of the firstlings of his flock and of the fat thereof. And the LORD had respect unto Abel and to his offering:

:5 But unto Cain and to his offering he had not respect. And Cain was very wroth, and his countenance fell.

Now Adam and Eve taught their kids that to be forgiven, they had to bring an offering unto the Lord. The first offering is a picture of salvation. All through the Old Testament, they are looking forward to Christ dying on the cross for their sins. To be forgiven, they must repent of their sins and put their faith in Jesus’s blood(the lamb of God). As a picture of that they had to bring a symbolic sacrifice or an offering. Now this offering had no part in their salvation. For the Christian, it is like water baptism and communion.

They picture what saved us but have no part in our salvation. Anyways, Cain brings the wrong offering. He brings the fruit of the ground from his farming, which is a symbol of his good works. Abel, brings the right offering, a sacrificial lamb, a symbol of the lamb of God who is Jesus, for his forgiveness. It’s just like today. There are two types of religions. One that trusts in Jesus by faith alone. The other that adds good works.

Titus 3:5-6 Not by works of righteousness which we have done, but according to his mercy he saved us, by the washing of regeneration, and renewing of the Holy Ghost;

:6 Which he shed on us abundantly through Jesus Christ our Saviour;

The Bible teaches plainly that salvation is not by our works of righteousness, but throught the righteousness of Christ.

Gen. 4:6-7 And the LORD said unto Cain, Why art thou wroth? and why is thy countenance fallen?

:7 If thou doest well, shalt thou not be accepted? and if thou doest not well, sin lieth at the door. And unto thee shall be his desire, and thou shalt rule over him.

Now Cain doesn’t repent. He could have gone to his brother and traded his fruit for a lamb, but he didn’t. He wanted to serve God his own way.

John 14:15 If ye love me, keep my commandments.

The Bible says plainly that if you love Jesus, you will do what he says. For the Christian this is called holiness. This is keeping the commandments of God in the power of the Holy Ghost. This is the Christian’s first love as stated in Revelations.

Now, in Genesis

Gen. 4:8, 16 And Cain talked with Abel his brother: and it came to pass, when they were in the field, that Cain rose up against Abel his brother, and slew him.

:16 And Cain went out from the presence of the LORD, and dwelt in the land of Nod, on the east of Eden.

So Cain kills Abel and is sent out from God’s presence. Although Cain is still religious, believes in God, and does good works, God is not with him. There are a lot of people today who are like Cain. These people are also religious, go to a religious organization which they call a church, give their money, and do their good works, etc. However, God is not with them and God is nowhere near their church.

Gen. 4:17-22 And Cain knew his wife; and she conceived, and bare Enoch: and he builded a city, and called the name of the city, after the name of his son, Enoch.

:18 And unto Enoch was born Irad: and Irad begat Mehujael: and Mehujael begat Methusael: and Methusael begat Lamech.

:19 And Lamech took unto him two wives: the name of the one was Adah, and the name of the other Zillah.

:20 And Adah bare Jabal: he was the father of such as dwell in tents, and of such as have cattle.

:21 And his brother's name was Jubal: he was the father of all such as handle the harp and organ.

:22 And Zillah, she also bare Tubalcain, an instructer of every artificer in brass and iron: and the sister of Tubalcain was Naamah.

So Cain departs from God’s presence and has kids and grandkids etc. This is known as Cain’s lineage. He teaches them contrary to God’s word or a good conscience. Notice, Enoch builds a city. Not too many people today can do that by themselves. We see that Jubal was a musician and Tubalcain was a skilled craftsman. The concept that we evolved from cavemen is foreign to the Bible. We may have better technology than 100 years ago, but human intelligence hasn’t changed a whole lot in the past 4000 years.

You can believe what the creator said, or you can believe what some God-hating evolutionist said. The choice is yours.

Gen. 4:25-26 And Adam knew his wife again; and she bare a son, and called his name Seth: For God, said she, hath appointed me another seed instead of Abel, whom Cain slew.

:26 And to Seth, to him also there was born a son; and he called his name Enos: then began men to call upon the name of the LORD.

We see Enos is born and people start getting saved and serving the Lord. What follows is Adam’s lineage. The ones who serve the Lord, according to a good conscience.

Gen. 5:3-8 And Adam lived an hundred and thirty years, and begat a son in his own likeness, after his image; and called his name Seth:

:4 And the days of Adam after he had begotten Seth were eight hundred years: and he begat sons and daughters:

:5 And all the days that Adam lived were nine hundred and thirty years: and he died.

:6 And Seth lived an hundred and five years, and begat Enos:

:7 And Seth lived after he begat Enos eight hundred and seven years, and begat sons and daughters:

:8 And all the days of Seth were nine hundred and twelve years: and he died.

Now back before Noah’s flood, the people on the earth lived longer. Some 930 years, som 912 years, etc. The oldest one was Methuselah who lived 969 years. Can you imagine how smart you would be if you did the same trade for 500 years in a row. Nevertheless, not to many dummies before the flood of Noah. Oh well, so much for the idea of evolution and man getting smarter since his origin.

Gen. 5:21-24 And Enoch lived sixty and five years, and begat Methuselah:

:22 And Enoch walked with God after he begat Methuselah three hundred years, and begat sons and daughters:

:23 And all the days of Enoch were three hundred sixty and five years:

:24 And Enoch walked with God: and he was not; for God took him.

Now Enoch walked with God. This is what God wants us to do. That’s what Adam and Eve did with God before the fall. God wants us to be totally sold out to him in all of our ways.

I Pet. 1:15-16 But as he which hath called you is holy, so be ye holy in all manner of conversation; Because it is written, Be ye holy; for I am holy.

Holiness is keeping God’s commandments in the power of the Holy Ghost. Now Enoch is a picture of the rapture of the living saved people on earth. Jesus is coming back, and when the trumpet is blown we will meet the Lord in the air and go to heaven. Amen.

Gen. 6:1-3 And it came to pass, when men began to multiply on the face of the earth, and daughters were born unto them,

:2 That the sons of God saw the daughters of men that they were fair; and they took them wives of all which they chose.

:3 And the LORD said, My spirit shall not always strive with man, for that he also is flesh: yet his days shall be an hundred and twenty years.

Here we see the intermarriage between the saved people, the sons of God, and the lost people, the daughters of men. This sin brought judgement on the earth. Like in the new testament, God commands saved people to marry saved people. By the way, it doesn’t matter what race they are, how much money they have, and/or their age, etc, but that they are saved. The point here is that if you marry a lost person who doesn’t want to serve the Lord, it will bring a double spiritual standard in your home(a godly and an ungodly influence). It will affect how your kids are raised. Usually in a compromised environment, sin always wins, and the kids will come out lost or carnal(not wanting to serve the Lord wholeheartedly).

Judges 3:5-8 And the children of Israel dwelt among the Canaanites, Hittites, and Amorites, and Perizzites, and Hivites, and Jebusites:

:6 And they took their daughters to be their wives, and gave their daughters to their sons, and served their gods.

:7 And the children of Israel did evil in the sight of the LORD, and forgat the LORD their God, and served Baalim and the groves.

:8 Therefore the anger of the LORD was hot against Israel, and he sold them into the hand of Chushanrishathaim king of Mesopotamia: and the children of Israel served Chushanrishathaim eight years.

Now beware of ungodly influences in the world. That is why, all my close friends are good Christians. -Sure, I have dealings with lost and carnal people everyday. However, I don’t fellowship with them, because I don’t want their sinful desires rubbing off on me. I will nice to them, witness to them, and encourage them to go to church, but beyond that I keep my distance.

I Cor. 15:33 Be not deceived: evil communications corrupt good manners.

If you start fellowshipping with the world, eventually your kids will do it, and before you know it, they will want to marry someone who is lost.

Gen. 6:5 And GOD saw that the wickedness of man was great in the earth, and that every imagination of the thoughts of his heart was only evil continually.

So because of the mixing of marriages between the saved and the lost, compromise takes over, and eventually the spiritual line is completely corrupted by the lost line. Notice, every imagination is evil. Everyone is choosing evil even though their conscience says it is wrong. So given a perfect knowledge of good and evil, man chooses evil and not to serve the Lord. Hence, when you reject the Lord, judgement follows.

Gen. 6:6-7 And it repented the LORD that he had made man on the earth, and it grieved him at his heart.

:7 And the LORD said, I will destroy man whom I have created from the face of the earth; both man, and beast, and the creeping thing, and the fowls of the air; for it repenteth me that I have made them.

God pronounces that he will destroy man and all land animals.

Gen. 6:8-9 But Noah found grace in the eyes of the LORD.

:9 These are the generations of Noah: Noah was a just man and perfect in his generations, and Noah walked with God.

This is how you escape God’s judgement or get grace. You must first get saved (escape hell), and then after you are saved, walk with God(escape a curse in life).

Gen. 6:11 The earth also was corrupt before God, and the earth was filled with violence.

This is what sin produces, corruption and violence. Anyways, God commands Noah to build an ark and take seven of every clean animal and two of every unclean animal and put them on the ark.

Gen. 7:11, 22 In the six hundredth year of Noah's life, in the second month, the seventeenth day of the month, the same day were all the fountains of the great deep broken up, and the windows of heaven were opened.

:22 All in whose nostrils was the breath of life, of all that was in the dry land, died.

Now judgement is passed on the earth and only eight humans survive. The protective ice canopy falls on the earth and the waters from beneath are broken up. The greenhouse that existed on earth with perfect weather is gone. It rains on the earth for the first time.

Now the earth will have good and bad weather, as well as cold and hot seasons. Also, the environment has changed for the worse and the average lifespan on the earth drops off.

Gen. 7:24 And the waters prevailed upon the earth an hundred and fifty days.

After forty days of rain, we have the earth under water for 150 days. After this the waters recede or go down from their high levels. This explains why we have sea salt deposits on the top of the mountains, why we have a worldwide fossil record, and things like Niagra Falls and the Grand Canyon. These were all the result of a worldwide flood. The flood left evidence of the mighty judgement of God on a sinful world.

Gen. 8:4 And the ark rested in the seventh month, on the seventeenth day of the month, upon the mountains of Ararat.

By the way, Noah’s ark is still found on Mt. Ararat, although it has now broken into two pieces. In Noah’s days, no one thought that God would destroy them instantly.

However, God did destroy them instantly and they died and went to hell, lost forever.

The Age of Human Government

Now the Age of Human Government is found in Genesis chapters 8-11. The test here is that with man in charge of man, otherwise known as human government, will man serve the Lord?

Gen. 8:16 Go forth of the ark, thou, and thy wife, and thy sons, and thy sons' wives with thee.

The age of human government starts with Noah and his family getting out of the ark.

Gen. 8:22 While the earth remaineth, seedtime and harvest, and cold and heat, and summer and winter, and day and night shall not cease.

Now, the world which had a perfect environment was destroyed. The earth now has seasons of hot and cold, where before it was a constant temperature all around the globe.

You can only plant and harvest at certain times of the year, where before you could plant and harvest all year round.

Gen. 9:1 And God blessed Noah and his sons, and said unto them, Be fruitful, and multiply, and replenish the earth.

Noah gets the commission to replenish or fill the earth again with people. This was the same commission Adam got. The Christian’s commission is in

Matt. 28:19-20 Go ye therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost:

:20 Teaching them to observe all things whatsoever I have commanded you: and, lo, I am with you alway, even unto the end of the world. Amen.

The Christian’s job is to multiply and fill the earth with a bunch of born again Christians who will live for Jesus after the commandments in the Bible. Every generation has this commission to preach the word, see people get saved and baptized, and to teach the Christian converts the whole Bible.

Gen. 9:2-3 And the fear of you and the dread of you shall be upon every beast of the earth, and upon every fowl of the air, upon all that moveth upon the earth, and upon all the fishes of the sea; into your hand are they delivered.

:3 Every moving thing that liveth shall be meat for you; even as the green herb have I given you all things.

Now, animals have the fear of man in them. Also, it is now okay for man to eat animals.

Gen. 9:4 But flesh with the life thereof, which is the blood thereof, shall ye not eat.

All through the Bible, the eating of blood is forbidden.

Acts 15:20 But that we write unto them, that they abstain from pollutions of idols, and from fornication, and from things strangled, and from blood.

That is why the Catholic mass isn’t found in the Bible. They believe they are eating Christ’s literal blood. If so, they are sinning against, Acts 15:20, where it is forbidden.

Gen. 9:5-6 And surely your blood of your lives will I require; at the hand of every beast will I require it, and at the hand of man; at the hand of every man's brother will I require the life of man.

:6 Whoso sheddeth man's blood, by man shall his blood be shed: for in the image of God made he man.

Here we see that corporal punishment or the death penalty was instituted. Man is responsible for judging another man if he kills someone else unjustly.

Gen. 9:9, 15-16 And I, behold, I establish my covenant with you, and with your seed after you;

:15 And I will remember my covenant, which is between me and you and every living creature of all flesh; and the waters shall no more become a flood to destroy all flesh.

:16 And the bow shall be in the cloud; and I will look upon it, that I may remember the everlasting covenant between God and every living creature of all flesh that is upon the earth.

Now the rainbow is a symbol that God will not destroy the earth again by water.

Gen. 9:18-19 And the sons of Noah, that went forth of the ark, were Shem, and Ham, and Japheth: and Ham is the father of Canaan.

:19 These are the three sons of Noah: and of them was the whole earth overspread.

So we see that there are three lines of people on the earth. The sons of Shem, Japheth, and Ham. From these all the nations can be traced.

Gen. 9:20-21 And Noah began to be an husbandman, and he planted a vineyard:

:21 And he drank of the wine, and was drunken; and he was uncovered within his tent.

Here we see that getting drunk on the fermented wine(alcohol) and nakedness go hand in hand. That’s why the Bible forbids the drinking of fermented wine.

Prov. 23:31 Look not thou upon the wine when it is red, when it giveth his colour in the cup, when it moveth itself aright.

If your not suppose to look at it, you certainly are not supposed to drink it.

Eph. 5:18 And be not drunk with wine, wherein is excess; but be filled with the Spirit;

Christians are commanded to be filled with the Spirit, not with fermented wine, or alcohol. So drinking the fermented wine leads to drunkenness, nakedness, and fornication. It’s no different today. Any bar room on any college campus on any weekend that school is in session will prove that to be true.

9:22 And Ham, the father of Canaan, saw the nakedness of his father, and told his two brethren without.

Noah’s nakedness is for his wife, not anyone else. Just like your nakedness is for your spouse and no one else. A man’s nakedness is never for another man. This is known as homosexuality and it is condemned all through the Bible.

Lev. 18:22 Thou shalt not lie with mankind, as with womankind: it is abomination.,

Rom. 1:27 And likewise also the men, leaving the natural use of the woman, burned in their lust one toward another; men with men working that which is unseemly, and receiving in themselves that recompence of their error which was meet.

God promises to punish homosexuals for their abominable practice in this lifetime.

Gen. 9:24-27 And Noah awoke from his wine, and knew what his younger son had done unto him.

:25 And he said, Cursed be Canaan; a servant of servants shall he be unto his brethren.

:26 And he said, Blessed be the LORD God of Shem; and Canaan shall be his servant.

:27 God shall enlarge Japheth, and he shall dwell in the tents of Shem; and Canaan shall be his servant.

Because of Ham’s sin, the line of Canaan his son is cursed to serve his brethren. The practical application for today is that if parents don’t live for the Lord in everything, it might bring a curse on one of their kid’s family tree. Usually, there is a kid in the family that will copy their parents’ sin and take it to the next level. However, if the parents do right, the kid won’t have a bad example to follow.

Gen. 9:28-29 And Noah lived after the flood three hundred and fifty years.

:29 And all the days of Noah were nine hundred and fifty years: and he died.

Now Noah lived in the age of conscience, where they had a perfect knowledge of good and evil. Noah’s dad was alive when Adam was alive. Noah lived 350 years after the flood. Abram, later Abraham, the father of the Jews was alive when Noah was alive. The point here is that the word of God or perfect truth was passed down word of mouth and no written Bible was needed. All you had to do was ask Abraham, who asked Noah, who asked his dad, who asked Adam, who asked God, etc.

Gen. 10:1 Now these are the generations of the sons of Noah, Shem, Ham, and Japheth: and unto them were sons born after the flood.

What follows is the family lines of Ham, Shem, and Japheth. Now notice what the Bible says.

10:5 By these were the isles of the Gentiles divided in their lands; every one after his tongue, after their families, in their nations.

The nations were after their tongue. We will see that at the tower of Babel, all the languages were made. I believe here is where all the races came about, Chinese, American, Indian, etc. Before the tower of Babel, they were one language, one speech, and I believe, one race. God did this, so the people of the earth would gather into nations.

Gen. 10:9-10 He was a mighty hunter before the LORD: wherefore it is said, Even as Nimrod the mighty hunter before the LORD.

:10 And the beginning of his kingdom was Babel, and Erech, and Accad, and Calneh, in the land of Shinar.

Now Nimrod was in Ham’s lineage and from his kingdom came the tower of Babel. At the tower of Babel the people of the world gathered to rebel against God’s commission as given to Noah.

Gen. 10:32, 11:1-2 These are the families of the sons of Noah, after their generations, in their nations: and by these were the nations divided in the earth after the flood.

11:1 And the whole earth was of one language, and of one speech.

11:2 And it came to pass, as they journeyed from the east, that they found a plain in the land of Shinar; and they dwelt there.

God told Noah, that he and his descendents were to fill the earth, not gather together in one place. So in the land of Shinar where was Nimrod’s kingdom you see that man or the whole earth of people gathered into one place to rebel against God’s commission.

Gen. 11:3 And they said one to another, Go to, let us make brick, and burn them throughly. And they had brick for stone, and slime had they for morter.

Now notice, brick and slime are man-made, whereas stone and morter are God-made.

Gen. 11:4 And they said, Go to, let us build us a city and a tower, whose top may reach unto heaven; and let us make us a name, lest we be scattered abroad upon the face of the whole earth.

So, the people of the earth are using the wrong materials to build the wrong work for the wrong purpose. God did not tell them to build a city and a tower whose top reaches up to heaven so they could be famous. He told them to fill the face of the whole earth.

The solution to the world’s problems is not that everyone unites and their is one language, one nation, and one world government. The solution is to do what God says and have several sovereign nations who rule themselves. This is why the United Nations and any other world uniting organization is destined to fail. It is not God’s plan. God knows that man is a sinner. Too much power with one man will lead to a dictatorship and much corruption. He will try to make a name for himself rather than make a name for the Lord. People will start following him over the Bible. This is why I believe every nation should be sovereign with independent states. This way not one person or a group of persons won’t get to much power and try to control the rest of the country for their own benefit. The founding fathers of the United States of America who believed in the Old King James Bible had it right. Independent states that ruled themselves, that united as one nation under God. The independent states were under a Constitution. This is known as a republic.

Gen. 11:5-6 And the LORD came down to see the city and the tower, which

the children of men builded.

:6 And the LORD said, Behold, the people is one, and they have all one language; and this they begin to do: and now nothing will be restrained from them, which they have imagined to do.

God sees the rebellion of man toward his commission and hence man fails the test of human government. With man in charge of man, will he serve God. The answer is no. As a result, judgement follows.

Gen. 11:7-9 Go to, let us go down, and there confound their language, that they may not understand one another's speech.

:8 So the LORD scattered them abroad from thence upon the face of all the earth: and they left off to build the city.

:9 Therefore is the name of it called Babel; because the LORD did there confound the language of all the earth: and from thence did the LORD scatter them abroad upon the face of all the earth.

So God scatters all the people across the face of the earth. He changes their languages, divides them into nations, and here is where I believe the different races were created. I say this because from Adam and Eve up to this point, there is only one race. Let’s face it, you don’t get chinese from whites, whites from blacks, blacks from chinese, etc. There needs to be a starting point. This looks like a good place. Because of sin man got the judgement of God. However, there is another judgement of God. That is when a person dies without Christ and being forgiven of his sin and wakes up in hell. This is why every person should get saved.

The Age of Promise

Now the Age of Promise is found in Genesis chapters 12-50. Now the test here is if God chose out a man and spoke to him directly and gave him promises, would man serve God by listening to the man of God?

Gen. 12:1-3 Now the LORD had said unto Abram, Get thee out of thy country, and from thy kindred, and from thy father's house, unto a land that I will shew thee:

:2 And I will make of thee a great nation, and I will bless thee, and make thy name great; and thou shalt be a blessing:

:3 And I will bless them that bless thee, and curse him that curseth thee: and in thee shall all families of the earth be blessed.

Now at the tower of Babel, God had scattered the people all over the face of the earth. Each group of people had their own language, race, and nation. Now God calls Abram and promises to make him a great nation and from him all families of the earth shall be blessed. This promise is passed down through his family seed, hence the age of promise.

Matt. 1:1 The book of the generation of Jesus Christ, the son of David, the son of Abraham.

From the book of Matthew we see that the geneology of Abram later called Abraham can be traced to the birth of Jesus Christ. God is talking to Abram directly, so if you want to know what God requires, just ask Abram. Now Noah lived 350 years after the flood and he was alive when Abram was a full grown adult. Also, remember that Noah’s dad was alive when Adam was alive. So if Abram needed to know something about God, he could just ask Noah. Hence no written Bible is needed at this time because all you had to do was ask someone who knew and talked to God personally and directly.

Gen. 12:6-7 And Abram passed through the land unto the place of Sichem, unto the plain of Moreh. And the Canaanite was then in the land.

:7 And the LORD appeared unto Abram, and said, Unto thy seed will I give this land: and there builded he an altar unto the LORD, who appeared unto him.

God promises Abram’s descendants the land of Canaan. Abram is the father of the Jews and the land of Canaan is presently known as Palestine.

Gen. 13:12, 14-15 Abram dwelled in the land of Canaan, and Lot dwelled in the cities of the plain, and pitched his tent toward Sodom.

:14 And the LORD said unto Abram, after that Lot was separated from him, Lift up now thine eyes, and look from the place where thou art northward, and southward, and eastward, and westward:

:15 For all the land which thou seest, to thee will I give it, and to thy seed for ever.

God promises Abram, that he and his seed the Jews will get the land of Canaan forever. Now this has caused an uproar in the Middle East with the muslims. However, if God gave it to the Jews then let the Jews have it. Otherwise, you are fighting against God Almighty. By the way, God Almighty is always right and his promises always comes true. God, who is perfect, has the right to give it and that settles that. Remember, islam did not come from the Bible, but it started a few hundred years after the Bible was completed. It teaches you get to heaven by doing good works, not faith alone in the blood of Jesus alone with a repentant heart. Islam teaches that Jesus is not God and that Christianity is a false religion. However, the Bible supports Jesus who is God, not Allah and the Koran. Islam is just another false religion with a false book backed by the Devil.

Gen. 14:18-20 And Melchizedek king of Salem brought forth bread and wine: and he was the priest of the most high God.

:19 And he blessed him, and said, Blessed be Abram of the most high God, possessor of heaven and earth:

:20 And blessed be the most high God, which hath delivered thine enemies into thy hand. And he gave him tithes of all.

Now cross referencing this passage with Hebrews chapter seven, we see that Melchizedek is an old testament appearance of Jesus Christ. Jesus is the great high priest who is now at the right hand of God. He talks to God for us on our behalf. So here Abram brought his tithe or 10% of what he gained to Jesus. That is why the Christian gives 10% of what he makes to the new testament church.

Gen. 15:3-6 And Abram said, Behold, to me thou hast given no seed: and, lo, one born in my house is mine heir.

15:4 And, behold, the word of the LORD came unto him, saying, This shall not be thine heir; but he that shall come forth out of thine own bowels shall be thine heir.

15:5 And he brought him forth abroad, and said, Look now toward heaven, and tell the stars, if thou be able to number them: and he said unto him, So shall thy seed be.

15:6 And he believed in the LORD; and he counted it to him for righteousness.

God puts Abram to the test and he believes God’s promise. He is old and his wife is past the age of having kids. However, God can perform the miracle of life at any age.

Faith is believing that God can do the impossible. This is what pleases God.

Gen. 16:2 And Sarai said unto Abram, Behold now, the LORD hath restrained me from bearing: I pray thee, go in unto my maid; it may be that I may obtain children by her. And Abram hearkened to the voice of Sarai.

Abram gets ahead of God. He thinks that his seed will come through his wife’s maid. However, no faith is involved here(Gal. 4:22-23).

Gen. 16:11-12 And the angel of the LORD said unto her, Behold, thou art with child, and shalt bear a son, and shalt call his name Ishmael; because the LORD hath heard thy affliction.

16:12 And he will be a wild man; his hand will be against every man, and every man's hand against him; and he shall dwell in the presence of all his brethren.

Now Abram has a child Ishmael, however God’s promise doesn’t go through Ishmael’s seed, but later Isaac’s seed. The muslims trace their lineage back through Ishmael, not through Isaac.

Gen. 17:1 And when Abram was ninety years old and nine, the LORD appeared to Abram, and said unto him, I am the Almighty God; walk before me, and be thou perfect.

In the age of promise, God required Abram to walk with God and be perfect or mature in his ways. The same holds true for the Christian today. We need to have a personal relation or walk with God everyday doing what God has called us to do. Also, while we are fulfilling God’s will for our lives, we are to be holy in all aspects of our life. Remember, holiness is keeping the commandments of God through the Holy Ghost. We prove our love to God by doing what he says, John 14:15.

Gen. 17:7 And I will establish my covenant between me and thee and thy seed after thee in their generations for an everlasting covenant, to be a God unto thee, and to thy seed after thee.

Now God makes an everlasting covenant or agreement with Abram to be his God. All he has to do is walk with God and be mature or holy in his ways. God would speak to him and his seed directly and give them instructions. The test here is if God spoke to man directly and made him promises, would he believe God and do what he says.

Gen. 17:10-11 This is my covenant, which ye shall keep, between me and you and thy seed after thee; Every man child among you shall be circumcised.

:11 And ye shall circumcise the flesh of your foreskin; and it shall be a token of the covenant betwixt me and you.

Circumcision is the token or sign of the covenant. It is a picture of spiritual circumcision, which is when Christ cuts a person’s flesh from his spirit and Christ’s Spirit indwells the believer.

Gen. 17:17-19 Then Abraham fell upon his face, and laughed, and said in his heart, Shall a child be born unto him that is an hundred years old? and shall Sarah, that is ninety years old, bear?

:18 And Abraham said unto God, O that Ishmael might live before thee!

:19 And God said, Sarah thy wife shall bear thee a son indeed; and thou shalt call his name Isaac: and I will establish my covenant with him for an everlasting covenant, and with his seed after him.

God promises Abram, whose name was changed to Abraham, a child through his wife Sarah who is past childbearing. Now faith is trusting in God’s promises as written in the Bible. The Christian has no spiritual victories on earth and can’t please God without faith.

Gen. 21:3-5 And Abraham called the name of his son that was born unto him, whom Sarah bare to him, Isaac.

:4 And Abraham circumcised his son Isaac being eight days old, as God had commanded him.

:5 And Abraham was an hundred years old, when his son Isaac was born unto him.

Through faith in God’s promise, the impossible child is born. The name of the child was Isaac, and through him God establishes his covenant.

Gen. 22:1-2 And it came to pass after these things, that God did tempt Abraham, and said unto him, Abraham: and he said, Behold, here I am.

:2 And he said, Take now thy son, thine only son Isaac, whom thou lovest, and get thee into the land of Moriah; and offer him there for a burnt offering upon one of the mountains which I will tell thee of.

Now God tests Abraham. He tells Abraham to sacrifice Isaac on the altar. Logic would tell you that if Abraham kills Isaac, he would have no seed. However, Abraham believed God’s word by faith.

Hebr. 11:19 Accounting that God was able to raise him up, even from the dead; from whence also he received him in a figure.

The Bible says that Abraham believed that God would raise him from the dead if he killed him.

Gen. 22:9-12 And they came to the place which God had told him of; and Abraham built an altar there, and laid the wood in order, and bound Isaac his son, and laid him on the altar upon the wood.

:10 And Abraham stretched forth his hand, and took the knife to slay his son.

:11 And the angel of the LORD called unto him out of heaven, and said, Abraham, Abraham: and he said, Here am I.

:12 And he said, Lay not thine hand upon the lad, neither do thou any thing unto him: for now I know that thou fearest God, seeing thou hast not withheld thy son, thine only son from me.

So Abraham passes the test. Abraham is a picture of God the Father. Just like Abraham was willing to give up his only son born by a miracle of God. God the Father gave up his only begotten son Jesus who was born by a miracle of God.

Gen. 26:2-5 And the LORD appeared unto him, and said, Go not down into Egypt; dwell in the land which I shall tell thee of:

:3 Sojourn in this land, and I will be with thee, and will bless thee; for unto thee, and unto thy seed, I will give all these countries, and I will perform the oath which I sware unto Abraham thy father;

:4 And I will make thy seed to multiply as the stars of heaven, and will give unto thy seed all these countries; and in thy seed shall all the nations of the earth be blessed;

:5 Because that Abraham obeyed my voice, and kept my charge, my commandments, my statutes, and my laws.

After the death of Abraham, the Lord appears to Isaac and promises to keep the oath he gave to Abraham. Isaac believes the promise by faith that God will take care of him and do what he said.

Gen. 26:12-14 Then Isaac sowed in that land, and received in the same year an hundredfold: and the LORD blessed him.

:13 And the man waxed great, and went forward, and grew until he became very great:

:14 For he had possession of flocks, and possession of herds, and great store of servants: and the Philistines envied him.

Now the result of Isaac believing God by faith is that he increased his possessions one hundred times over.

Matt. 6:33 But seek ye first the kingdom of God, and his righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you.

God promises the Christian to meet his physical needs if he does what God says.

Ps. 37:4 Delight thyself also in the LORD: and he shall give thee the desires of thine heart.

He will also give the Christian his desires, if he takes pleasure in serving him daily in all of his ways. The problem today is that Christians don’t want to keep God’s commandments. They will call it legalism or justify not doing it. Also, Christians have their own plans for their lives and then want God to bless it, even when it isn’t God’s will for them. So as a result, God doesn’t meet the Christians’ needs or doesn’t give them their desires and they think there is something wrong with God. Instead Christian, we need to repent of our sins, keep God’s commandments, and seek God’s will for our lives.

So Abraham goes to Canaan and has a son Isaac through a miracle birth. God promises Isaac to honor his covenant if he keeps God’s commandments. Isaac does right and is blessed for it. Isaac has two sons Jacob and Esau. Now the promise of the covenant with God goes through the line of Jacob.

Gen. 28:1-4 And Isaac called Jacob, and blessed him, and charged him, and said unto him, Thou shalt not take a wife of the daughters of Canaan.

:2 Arise, go to Padanaram, to the house of Bethuel thy mother's father; and take thee a wife from thence of the daughters of Laban thy mother's brother.

:3 And God Almighty bless thee, and make thee fruitful, and multiply thee, that thou mayest be a multitude of people;

:4 And give thee the blessing of Abraham, to thee, and to thy seed with thee; that thou mayest inherit the land wherein thou art a stranger, which God gave unto Abraham.

So Isaac gives Jacob his son a charge to serve the Lord. He starts out by telling him not to marry any of the daughters of Canaan, but one from his own race. Now the point here is that the daughters of Canaan didn’t believe in the promises of God. If he marries one of them, they will turn his heart away from serving the Lord(Jud. 3:5-8), II Cor. 6:14). As a result, the kids turned away from God and the world became wicked. That is why the Bible commands Christians to marry Christians. Our kids need a consistent spiritual home, not a double spiritual standard. So Jacob believes the promise of God and obeys his father’s voice.

Gen. 28:13-15 And, behold, the LORD stood above it, and said, I am the LORD God of Abraham thy father, and the God of Isaac: the land whereon thou liest, to thee will I give it, and to thy seed;

:14 And thy seed shall be as the dust of the earth, and thou shalt spread abroad to the west, and to the east, and to the north, and to the south: and in thee and in thy seed shall all the families of the earth be blessed.

:15 And, behold, I am with thee, and will keep thee in all places whither thou goest, and will bring thee again into this land; for I will not leave thee, until I have done that which I have spoken to thee of.

So Jacob goes to Padanaram. On the way, God meets him and promises to keep his word since Jacob believed God by faith. As a result, Jacob is in Padanaram for twenty years. Jacob has twelve sons and is blessed with many possessions. However, before he left Padanaram, his brother Esau, who didn’t believe God’s promise, wanted to kill him.

Now Esau, who is the firstborn, lost his birthright to Jacob as a result of his unbelief. As a result, the promises of God’s covenant went through Jacob’s seed not Esau’s. By the way Christian, you can lose a lot of blessings from God through your unbelief. In this life, God will put you to the test to see what you are putting your faith in. Do you put your faith in your own abilities, others, your money, or your faith in God’s commandments. Now, after twenty years, Jacob returns home and on the way home he sends messengers of peace to Esau.

Gen. 32:6 And the messengers returned to Jacob, saying, We came to thy brother Esau, and also he cometh to meet thee, and four hundred men with him.

Now Jacob is terrified for his life. He believes Esau wants to kill him. However, God promises to take care of him. Yet, Jacob is in distress and is looking for away to deliver himself.

Gen. 32:24-25 And Jacob was left alone; and there wrestled a man with him until the breaking of the day.

:25 And when he saw that he prevailed not against him, he touched the hollow of his thigh; and the hollow of Jacob's thigh was out of joint, as he wrestled with him.

God sends an Angel, who is another Old Testament appearance of Jesus. He takes out Jacob’s thigh joint so he can’t run from Esau and has to trust in God to be delivered. Now, when you are relying on your own abilities too much, God will bring trouble in your life, like money and health problems, to show you that you can’t deliver yourself or prevent you from deleivering yourself. He does this so you will trust Jesus totally. As a result, God can bless you and increase your faith in him.

IICor. 12:9 And he said unto me, My grace is sufficient for thee: for my strength is made perfect in weakness. Most gladly therefore will I rather glory in my infirmities, that the power of Christ may rest upon me.

God’s strength is made perfect through the Christian when he is weak in the flesh.

Gen. 32:28 And he said, Thy name shall be called no more Jacob, but Israel: for as a prince hast thou power with God and with men, and hast prevailed.

Now Jacob’s name is changed to Israel. From his seed came the twelve tribes of Israel and the nation of the Jewish people. From Genesis chapter 12 to Acts chapter 8, we see the Lord dealing with the nation of Israel, because of the promise made to Abraham’s seed. The practical application here is to serve the Lord and pass it down to your kids. Teach your kids to pass it on to their kids and every generation following. As a result, your family tree will be blessed by God.

Gen. 32:30 And Jacob called the name of the place Peniel: for I have seen God face to face, and my life is preserved.

So Jacob sees God or Jesus face to face and lives.

Gen. 35:1-3 And God said unto Jacob, Arise, go up to Bethel, and dwell there: and make there an altar unto God, that appeared unto thee when thou fleddest from the face of Esau thy brother.

:2 Then Jacob said unto his household, and to all that were with him, Put away the strange gods that are among you, and be clean, and change your garments:

:3 And let us arise, and go up to Bethel; and I will make there an altar unto God, who answered me in the day of my distress, and was with me in the way which I went.

So Jacob is delivered from his brother Esau and he makes an altar unto God. He makes a commitment to serve the Lord only. He has his househould put away the strange gods that they were serving. Now to be saved, the lost person has to put away the strange gods of false religion and trust in Jesus only. The Christian needs to sell out to God and put away the strange gods of Satan. Some examples of this are that the Christian needs to put away the strange gods of trusting in possessions, worldly entertainment, and satanic music(like the rock, country, and rap music), etc. All that worldly junk will effect your walk with God. Christians need to go to the altar at a New Testament church and make a commitment to serve the Lord in all of their ways and find out what God’s will is for their lives and do it.

Gen. 35:4-7 And they gave unto Jacob all the strange gods which were in their hand, and all their earrings which were in their ears; and Jacob hid them under the oak which was by Shechem.

:5 And they journeyed: and the terror of God was upon the cities that were round about them, and they did not pursue after the sons of Jacob.

:6 So Jacob came to Luz, which is in the land of Canaan, that is, Bethel, he and all the people that were with him.

:7 And he built there an altar, and called the place Elbethel: because there God appeared unto him, when he fled from the face of his brother.

As a result of putting away the strange gods and sin out of their lives, the terror of God was on the cities about them. God protected them from outside trouble. God will protect the Christian from outside worldly trouble if he does what God says. God will give you peace with your enemies. He will protect you from worldly and ungodly influence. So Israel settles in Canaan, the land which God had promised him and his seed.

Gen. 37:1 And Jacob dwelt in the land wherein his father was a stranger, in the land of Canaan.

Now Jacob and his twelve sons dwelt in Canaan. Jacob had a favorite son named Joseph, because he did what was right. The other eleven brothers hated Joseph, because they did what was wrong and did not want to repent.

Gen. 37:5 And Joseph dreamed a dream, and he told it his brethren: and they hated him yet the more.

Now Joseph dreamed two dreams which implied that Joseph’s family would bow down to him one day. Joseph believed God’s promise he made to him in his dreams. God made a promise to exalt Joseph as a great leader because he served the Lord.

Gen. 37:23-24 And it came to pass, when Joseph was come unto his brethren, that they stript Joseph out of his coat, his coat of many colours that was on him;

:24 And they took him, and cast him into a pit: and the pit was empty, there was no water in it.

Out of jealousy, the eleven brothers one day conspired against Joseph. They ended up selling him as a slave to the Ishmeelites.

Gen. 37:27-28 Come, and let us sell him to the Ishmeelites, and let not our hand be upon him; for he is our brother and our flesh. And his brethren were content.

:28 Then there passed by Midianites merchantmen; and they drew and lifted up Joseph out of the pit, and sold Joseph to the Ishmeelites for twenty pieces of silver: and they brought Joseph into Egypt.

So Joseph is sold into Egypt as a slave. However, God kept his promise to Joseph.

Joseph served as a slave to Potiphar an Egyptian. He was later framed by Potiphar’s wife and sent to prison. However, God was with Joseph regardless of his circumstances because he served the Lord wholeheartedly. When in jail, he interpreted the dreams of two prisoners exactly. One day, Pharaoh king of Egypt had a dream and no one could interpret it. So, they called Joseph out of Egypt to interpret Pharaoh’s dream.

Gen. 41:15-16 And Pharaoh said unto Joseph, I have dreamed a dream, and there is none that can interpret it: and I have heard say of thee, that thou canst understand a dream to interpret it.

:16 And Joseph answered Pharaoh, saying, It is not in me: God shall give Pharaoh an answer of peace.

So Joseph interprets Pharaoh’s dream exactly, that there will be seven years of plenty in harvest and then seven years of worldwide famine.

Gen. 41:38-41 And Pharaoh said unto his servants, Can we find such a one as this is, a man in whom the Spirit of God is?

:39 And Pharaoh said unto Joseph, Forasmuch as God hath shewed thee all this, there is none so discreet and wise as thou art:

:40 Thou shalt be over my house, and according unto thy word shall all my people be ruled: only in the throne will I be greater than thou.

:41 And Pharaoh said unto Joseph, See, I have set thee over all the land of Egypt.

Because of the wisdom God gave Joseph, Pharaoh makes Joseph the second ruler in Egypt.

Gen. 42:1-2 Now when Jacob saw that there was corn in Egypt, Jacob said unto his sons, Why do ye look one upon another?

:2 And he said, Behold, I have heard that there is corn in Egypt: get you down thither, and buy for us from thence; that we may live, and not die.

As a result of the famine, Jacob’s brothers come down to Egypt to buy corn and bow before Joseph. God kept his promise to exalt Joseph and fulfill his dream.

Gen. 46:2-3 And God spake unto Israel in the visions of the night, and said, Jacob, Jacob. And he said, Here am I.

:3 And he said, I am God, the God of thy father: fear not to go down into Egypt; for I will there make of thee a great nation:

Because of the famine, God brings Israel and all of his family into Egypt.

Gen. 48:15-16 And he blessed Joseph, and said, God, before whom my fathers Abraham and Isaac did walk, the God which fed me all my life long unto this day,

:16 The Angel which redeemed me from all evil, bless the lads; and let my name be named on them, and the name of my fathers Abraham and Isaac; and let them grow into a multitude in the midst of the earth.

So Jacob passes the blessing of the covenant down through the line of Joseph.

Gen. 50:25-26 And Joseph took an oath of the children of Israel, saying, God will surely visit you, and ye shall carry up my bones from hence.

:26 So Joseph died, being an hundred and ten years old: and they embalmed him, and he was put in a coffin in Egypt.

Now Joseph dies and passes on the promise to the children of Israel. However, after Joseph dies, you don’t hear about anyone believing God’s promise. So the test here is if God chose out a man and spoke to him directly and gave him promises, would man serve God by listening to the man of God. The answer is no. Man forgets the promises of the man of God and judgement follows.

Exod. 1:13-14 And the Egyptians made the children of Israel to serve with rigour:

:14 And they made their lives bitter with hard bondage, in morter, and in brick, and in all manner of service in the field: all their service, wherein they made them serve, was with rigour.

As a result of the children of Israel forgetting God’s promises, they end up as slaves to the Egyptians. This is what forgetting God’s promises will do for you in your Christian life. You will end up being in bondage to the world and its carnal ways. However, if die and you are not saved, you will be in the bondage of hell and the lake of fire forever.

The Age of Law

Now the Age of Law is found in the Bible from Exodus to Malachi. Now, as a result of the children of Israel forgetting God’s promises, they ended up as slaves to the Egyptians. Now the test here is if God wrote down in a book what he required of man, would man serve the Lord?

Exod. 20:1-3 And God spake all these words, saying,

:2 I am the LORD thy God, which have brought thee out of the land of Egypt, out of the house of bondage.

:3 Thou shalt have no other gods before me.

Now through the leadership of Moses, Israel was delivered out of the land of the Egyptians and led into the wilderness. God promised to lead the children of Israel into the land of Canaan if they put their faith in him. While in the wilderness of Mount Sinai, Moses was given the first ten commandments. In all God gave Moses 603 commandments. Now Moses went on to write the first 5 books of the bible. This included the past history, like the book of Genesis, as well as the future history, like how Moses would die. Remember that the first book written was the book of Job by Elihu(Job 32:16, during the time of the Temanites(Job 15:1), who would be at least the great-grandsons of Esau. This would put the book in the time frame when the nation of Israel was in Egypt.

Exod. 20:18-20 And all the people saw the thunderings, and the lightnings, and the noise of the trumpet, and the mountain smoking: and when the people saw it, they removed, and stood afar off.

:19 And they said unto Moses, Speak thou with us, and we will hear: but let not God speak with us, lest we die.

:20 And Moses said unto the people, Fear not: for God is come to prove you, and that his fear may be before your faces, that ye sin not.

So God spoke to Moses directly and he wrote it in a book and he taught the people. This is what a pastor does, he teaches his congregation the word of God. The pastor gives the Christian God’s word to prove him or to see how he lines up. This is done to bring the fear of God before his face so he will sin not. Real preaching will do this. God is a holy God. He demands us to be separated to his service all the time. Now holiness is keeping the word of God in the power of the Holy Ghost. If you go to a church where there is no preaching, no fear of God, no conviction of sin, and it doesn’t discourage sinful practices, you are in the wrong church pew. The church is not a social club, welfare center, fashion show, a place where you clock in for one hour every week, but a place where you get right with God.

Exod. 20:22 And the LORD said unto Moses, Thus thou shalt say unto the children of Israel, Ye have seen that I have talked with you from heaven.

So God is talking directly to Moses who tells the people God’s words.

Exod. 31:18, 32:16 And he gave unto Moses, when he had made an end of communing with him upon mount Sinai, two tables of testimony, tables of stone, written with the finger of God.

32:16 And the tables were the work of God, and the writing was the writing of God, graven upon the tables.

The ten commandments were written with the finger of God in stone. Now the whole bible is in heaven(Ps. 119:89). Over time God revealed it to man and he wrote it down. That is how the Bible was written. It is not man’s words or man’s interpretation of God’s words or man’s translation of God’s words but the Bible is God’s perfect words. This is the King James, 1611, A.V. It is God’s perfectly preserved word in English. All others are counterfeits.

Exod. 32:1 And when the people saw that Moses delayed to come down out

of the mount, the people gathered themselves together unto Aaron, and said unto him, Up, make us gods, which shall go before us; for as for this Moses, the man that brought us up out of the land of Egypt, we wot not what is become of him.

Now when Moses was meeting with God for forty days and nights, the people became impatient. They convinced Aaron to make a golden calf or idol to be their god. In the process, they broke God’s commandments. Even though man knew what God had said, they chose to disobey and serve idols. It is the same way today. We disregard God’s word. We change God’s word. We know what is right but we do wrong anyway. Fornication, disobeying parents, lying, stealing, drugs, wrong dress, wrong music, wrong speech, etc. is wrong, but Christians do it anyway. I tell Christians all the time, you will do enough wrong trying to do right. Do the best you can and don’t give wrong any help.

Exod. 32:9-10 And the LORD said unto Moses, I have seen this people, and, behold, it is a stiffnecked people:

:10 Now therefore let me alone, that my wrath may wax hot against them, and that I may consume them: and I will make of thee a great nation.

Israel’s disobedience brought God’s wrath in their lives. It is the same way with the Christian. When we do what is wrong when we have in writing what is right it will bring the wrath of God in our life.

Exod. 32:11-14 And Moses besought the LORD his God, and said, LORD, why

doth thy wrath wax hot against thy people, which thou hast brought forth out of the land of Egypt with great power, and with a mighty hand?

:12 Wherefore should the Egyptians speak, and say, For mischief did he bring them out, to slay them in the mountains, and to consume them from the face of the earth? Turn from thy fierce wrath, and repent of this evil against thy people.

:13 Remember Abraham, Isaac, and Israel, thy servants, to whom thou swarest by thine own self, and saidst unto them, I will multiply your seed as the stars of heaven, and all this land that I have spoken of will I give unto your seed, and they

shall inherit it for ever.

:14 And the LORD repented of the evil which he thought to do unto his people.

Here we see Moses playing the intercessorer for Israel to God. God has a right to wipe out Israel but because of Moses’s righteousness and request, God holds back and shows mercy. Moses reminds God of his power and his promises. This shows the value of a Christian who lives a holy life. He can get a hold of God and change his mind for the betterment of the nation. For God to rescue America, God’s people need to humble themselves, pray, turn from their wicked ways, and seek God’s face. When this happens, revival will hit this country again and multitudes will get saved and live for God.

Unfortunately, Christians are more concerned about politics and image. They are more concerned about numbers, money, and prestige. Instead, they should be more worried about holiness, preaching to the lost, and prayer. When Christians stop making a name for themselves and just try to help people live for God, then this country will turn around. Until then, look out below. Unfortunately, Christians are more worried about sports, worldly entertainment, and their personal finances and possessions than sacrificing their lives for Jesus. When the Christians in America get right, they will come out of the closet and send the queers back into the closet where they belong.

Exod. 32:20 And he took the calf which they had made, and burnt it in the fire, and ground it to powder, and strawed it upon the water, and made the children of Israel drink of it.

Now Moses takes care of business and gets rid of the idol or the golden calf. The Bible warns Christians to stay away from idols. An idol is anything we put in front of God(e.g. Our plans for our lives). We want to do what we want to do and then ask God to bless it. We give more of our time, money, and energy towards music stars, sports stars, etc. than we do for God. We take the world’s philosophy of humanism and the like over believing what God said literally. We put more stock in possessions, personal abilities, money, family, and/or careers, than trusting God for strength and direction.

Exod. 32:26-28 Then Moses stood in the gate of the camp, and said, Who is on the LORD'S side? let him come unto me. And all the sons of Levi gathered themselves together unto him.

:27 And he said unto them, Thus saith the LORD God of Israel, Put every man his sword by his side, and go in and out from gate to gate throughout the camp, and slay every man his brother, and every man his companion, and every man his

neighbour.

:28 And the children of Levi did according to the word of Moses: and there fell of the people that day about three thousand men.

Now Moses draws the line as they say and finds out who wants to serve God and who wants to play church and live out their own lives. As a result 3000 were executed that day for teaching rebellion against the Lord.

Exod. 32:34-35 Therefore now go, lead the people unto the place of which I have spoken unto thee: behold, mine Angel shall go before thee: nevertheless in the day when I visit I will visit their sin upon them.

:35 And the LORD plagued the people, because they made the calf, which Aaron made.

Also, a plague hits the people because of idolatry(I John 5:21). It seems today in America we are having a lot of plagues or problems. The problems with the economy, security, health care, education, leadership, disobedience in the home, sexually transmitted diseases, dead churches, etc. This is a result of giving God one hour a day and the devil the remaining fifteen hours, etc. In some cases people give God less. Notice, Moses was led by the Angel, which was an Old Testament appearance of Jesus Christ. If he is not in control and running your life, the plagues are coming.

33:1-3 And the LORD said unto Moses, Depart, and go up hence, thou and the people which thou hast brought up out of the land of Egypt, unto the land which I sware unto Abraham, to Isaac, and to Jacob, saying, Unto thy seed will I give it:

:2 And I will send an angel before thee; and I will drive out the Canaanite, the Amorite, and the Hittite, and the Perizzite, the Hivite, and the Jebusite:

:3 Unto a land flowing with milk and honey: for I will not go up in the midst of thee; for thou art a stiffnecked people: lest I consume thee in the way.

Now God promises to lead the nation of Israel into the land of Canaan. God promises to reward Israel with prosperity if they obey his word. He promises to drive out the people of the land supernaturally so Israel will get the land. God promises to lead the Christian in life and drive out his problems supernaturally if he obeys his word. God promises us blessings for this life and the life to come.

Exod. 33:7 And Moses took the tabernacle, and pitched it without the camp, afar off from the camp, and called it the Tabernacle of the congregation. And it came to pass, that every one which sought the LORD went out unto the tabernacle of the congregation, which was without the camp.

Now the tabernacle was the place where the children of Israel went to get right with God. At the entrance there was an altar where people brought their sacrifices for sins.

The priest would burn them there. Now only the priests were allowed in the tabernacle and they could not leave it until their appointment was over. After you walked past the altar you came to a laver. This is where the priest washed himself. Next you entered the inner door of the tabernacle. On the left was the golden candlestick, in front was the altar of incense, and to the right was the table of showbread. As you passed the veil you came to the mercy seat. This is where God entered the tabernacle through a hole above to meet with the priest. Now the way the furniture in the tabernacle was lined up, it made a cross.

The tabernacle pictures the Christian walk. First you get saved(the altar) and then you clean up your life by the washing of the word(laver). Next, you have fellowship with Jesus(the candlestick made out of one piece of beaten gold which pictures Jesus), the shewbread(Jesus is the bread of life), and the altar of incense(offer up your prayers to God). Finally when you die you go up into God’s presence who sits on a mercy seat in heaven.

Exod. 40:36-38 And when the cloud was taken up from over the tabernacle, the children of Israel went onward in all their journeys:

:37 But if the cloud were not taken up, then they journeyed not till the day that it was taken up.

:38 For the cloud of the LORD was upon the tabernacle by day, and fire was on it by night, in the sight of all the house of Israel, throughout all their journeys.

So God led the nation of Israel. When his cloud stayed put over the tabernacle, Israel stayed put. When the cloud went up, the children of Israel followed until the cloud stopped. The cloud of God was always in Israel’s sight. Israel had God’s written word and were always in God’s presence. You would think they all would follow God and have no problems. But as you will see in the age of law, time and time again, the nation of Israel will turn their back on God and serve other gods. It’s the same way with the Christian today. We have God’s word and we will experience God’s presence, then we will turn away from God and do are own thing. We won’t keep God’s commandments in the power of God to be holy. We will invent our own rules of self-righteousness and be religious or act like a Pharisee. We may ignore God’s commandments in the name of legalism and be a Sadducee(I Pet. 1:15-16). Ever wonder why there are churches on every corner but hypocrisy and problems are everywhere.

Anyways, of the nation of Israel, some decided to serve the Lord instead of the golden calf idol. As a result, they were spared God’s judgment. Now God brought the children of Israel out of the bondage of Egypt. After leaving Egypt, they journeyed in the wilderness where God took care of them and fed them with manna. He promised to bring them into the land of Canaan, which was a land flowing with milk and honey.

Num. 13:30-32 And Caleb stilled the people before Moses, and said, Let us go up at once, and possess it; for we are well able to overcome it.

:31 But the men that went up with him said, We be not able to go up against the people; for they are stronger than we.

:32 And they brought up an evil report of the land which they had searched unto the children of Israel, saying, The land, through which we have gone to search it, is a land that eateth up the inhabitants thereof; and all the people that we saw in it are men of a great stature.

Now God had Israel send twelve spies to check out the land of Canaan before they attacked. The land had big and strong people and they had a lot of resources. In the flesh or the power of man, Israel did not have a chance. However, Israel had God on their side and if they trusted God, they would overcome. Now Caleb and Joshua encouraged the people to trust God and possess the land of Canaan in God’s power. The other ten spies discouraged the people to not attack. Now Christianity is a spiritual battle. God gives the Christian tasks that are impossible in the flesh but possible with God through faith. God does this to show his power and strengthen the Christian’s faith. This is why a Christian can be right with God and then God allows a problem in his life. God is testing us and trying to develop a stronger faith in him.

Num.14:4 And they said one to another, Let us make a captain, and let us return into Egypt.

Now in spite of seeing God’s miracles, presence, and having God’s perfect word, the ten spies discourage Israel to enter Canaan and to return to Egypt. This is what the flesh and sin will do for you. It will turn you away from God and his blessings and encourage you to go back into the bondage of the world. E.g. it is like getting saved, joining a good church, quitting some sinful habit, say like smoking, drinking, drugs, looking at pornography, fornication, etc. and then quitting church and deciding to go back to the sinful habit again. The mistake most Christians make is after they give up some sinful behavior, they don’t replace it was some godly behavior. Also, they may be overwhelmed by their temptations and circumstances and just give in to sin.

Num. 14:30,32 Doubtless ye shall not come into the land, concerning which I sware to make you dwell therein, save Caleb the son of Jephunneh, and Joshua the son of Nun.

:32 But as for you, your carcases, they shall fall in this wilderness.

So as a result of rejecting God’s word and promises, judgement follows. That whole generation of people except for Caleb and Joshua died wandering in the wilderness because they chose not to serve God. So in the age of law, with a perfect book, God’s miracles, God’s presence and direction, man chooses to reject God. However, there were a few that decided to serve the Lord. This is who God worked with for the rest of the Old Testament. By the way for the Christian, God will only work with those who serve him.

Josh. 1:1-2 Now after the death of Moses the servant of the LORD it came to pass, that the LORD spake unto Joshua the son of Nun, Moses' minister, saying,

:2 Moses my servant is dead; now therefore arise, go over this Jordan, thou, and all this people, unto the land which I do give to them, even to the children of Israel.

So Joshua becomes the new leader of Israel and leads them into the promised land. By the way, Joshua or Yeshua in Hebrew is another name for Jesus. Also, the Angel of the Lord, which was Jesus in the form of an angel, led the children of Israel into Canaan.

Joshua, Caleb, and the kids of the fallen generation possess the land of Canaan and get the blessings. For the victorious Christian, God will save you from the bondage of the world(deliver you from Egypt), develop you faith in the wilderness of life, and then bring you into the victorious Christian life with blessings(enter the land of Canaan). If you don’t continually live a holy life and strive to be more holy in all of your ways, you may end up dead and defeated by a sin in the wilderness.

Jud. 2:8-11 And Joshua the son of Nun, the servant of the LORD, died, being an hundred and ten years old.

:9 And they buried him in the border of his inheritance in Timnathheres, in the mount of Ephraim, on the north side of the hill Gaash.

:10 And also all that generation were gathered unto their fathers: and there arose another generation after them, which knew not the LORD, nor yet the works which he had done for Israel.

:11 And the children of Israel did evil in the sight of the LORD, and served Baalim:

Now, Joshua and his generation served the Lord. However, their arose another generation that knew not the Lord(they were lost) nor his works(they were not raised by their parents to serve the Lord. This is the mistake most good churches make. They don’t multiply themselves and pass on the truth of God to the next generation(II Tim. 2:2). This is why the Christian was given a great commission to multiply spiritually. This is to see the lost get saved, baptized, and taught the truth’s of the Bible, so they could see others saved, baptized, and taught the truth’s of the Bible, and so on and so forth. As a result, a future generation of Israel was serving Balaam, a form of devil worship. By the way, any religion or form of worship that doesn’t line up with the Bible is Baal worship. You either obey God’s word in the power of the Holy Ghost or you don’t. Now the book of Joshua tells you how things worked out for righteous Israel. In the book of judges, Israel served Balaam and sin. As a result, God raised up judges who would deliver Israel from their bondage in the land of Canaan and encourage them to serve the Lord. As long as they obeyed the judge God blessed them. Now the last judge was Samuel.

I Sam. 8:4-9 Then all the elders of Israel gathered themselves together, and came to Samuel unto Ramah,

:5 And said unto him, Behold, thou art old, and thy sons walk not in thy ways: now make us a king to judge us like all the nations.

:6 But the thing displeased Samuel, when they said, Give us a king to judge us. And Samuel prayed unto the LORD.

:7 And the LORD said unto Samuel, Hearken unto the voice of the people in all that they say unto thee: for they have not rejected thee, but they have rejected me, that I should not reign over them.

:8 According to all the works which they have done since the day that I brought them up out of Egypt even unto this day, wherewith they have forsaken me, and served other gods, so do they also unto thee.

:9 Now therefore hearken unto their voice: howbeit yet protest solemnly unto them, and shew them the manner of the king that shall reign over them.

Up to this point, God was the king of Israel. However, Israel rejected God as king and wanted a human king and be like all the ungodly nations around them. This is when Israel went from a theocracy to a monarchy. This was a result of Israel forsaking God’s word and serving the devil. The Christian can make the same mistake. They can reject God’s teachings and be like the world in their dress, speech, music, their bible, goals in life, their entertainment, how they raise their family, what they drink, where they go, who they hang around, etc. Beware when you are a Christian and want to be like the world. God will not bless your worldliness but your holiness and being separate from the world(Hebr. 12:14).

I Kings 11:9-12 And the LORD was angry with Solomon, because his heart was turned from the LORD God of Israel, which had appeared unto him twice,

:10 And had commanded him concerning this thing, that he should not go after other gods: but he kept not that which the LORD commanded.

:11 Wherefore the LORD said unto Solomon, Forasmuch as this is done of thee, and thou hast not kept my covenant and my statutes, which I have commanded thee, I will surely rend the kingdom from thee, and will give it to thy servant.

:12 Notwithstanding in thy days I will not do it for David thy father's sake: but I will rend it out of the hand of thy son.

Now under king Solomon the temple of God is built. When Israel went into the land of Canaan they abandoned the tabernacle, the portable temple, with a permanent tabernacle, known as the temple. The first mention of a temple is in I Sam. 1:9. It wasn’t until II Sam. 7:2, 5-7 that the temple of God went from being in a tent to being in a building.

As a result of having a human king, Israel eventually went into sin. Under the reign of king Solomon judgment was passed that the nation of Israel would be divided into two pieces, Judah and Israel. For the Christian, sin and serving Satan will result in divisions in your life. It might lead to a divorce, kids that reject God, church splits, divided desires, etc. This will bring confusion, trouble, and a weaker walk with Christ.

I Kings 12:16-17, 20 So when all Israel saw that the king hearkened not unto them, the people answered the king, saying, What portion have we in David? neither have we inheritance in the son of Jesse: to your tents, O Israel: now see to thine own house, David. So Israel departed unto their tents.

:17 But as for the children of Israel which dwelt in the cities of Judah, Rehoboam reigned over them.

:20 And it came to pass, when all Israel heard that Jeroboam was come again, that they sent and called him unto the congregation, and made him king over all Israel: there was none that followed the house of David, but the tribe of Judah only.

So Israel splits into two. From here the nation of Israel has nothing but wicked kings and ends up in captivity. Unfortunately, though Judah had a few good kings most of them were wicked and later ended up in captivity as well.

II Kings 23:27 And the LORD said, I will remove Judah also out of my sight, as I have removed Israel, and will cast off this city Jerusalem which I have chosen, and the house of which I said, My name shall be there.

This is a result of rejecting God as king. The nation gets divided and ends up in captivity or conquered. Note that the nation of Israel, the ten northern tribes gets conquered by the nation of Assyria(II Kings 17:) whereas Judah, the two southern tribes gets conquered by Babylon around about 134 years later.

Unfortunately, if America doesn’t get back to God like it did with the founding fathers who built our nation on the Bible, don’t be surprised if a civil war breaks out and our country gets divided and/or eventually conquered by a foreign power. By the way, every great empire in history that got destroyed, right before their destruction, they openly accepted gay and lesbians in society. This is another reason why I oppose homosexuality and gay and lesbian marriages.

II Kings 25:11-12 Now the rest of the people that were left in the city, and the fugitives that fell away to the king of Babylon, with the remnant of the multitude, did Nebuzaradan the captain of the guard carry away.

:12 But the captain of the guard left of the door of the poor of the land to be vinedressers and husbandmen.

So Judah gets conquered by Babylon. Israel got conquered by the Assyrians who got conquered by Babylon. So both Judah and Israel are under the same bondage. Because of the sin of the people and nation, the nation of Israel goes into captivity, and the city of Jerusalem and the temple of God gets destroyed.

By the way, I & II Kings shows you what is going on from the standpoint of man, whereas I & II Chronicles is showing you what is going on from the standpoint of God.

Neh. 1:7-9 We have dealt very corruptly against thee, and have not kept the commandments, nor the statutes, nor the judgments, which thou commandedst thy servant Moses.

:8 Remember, I beseech thee, the word that thou commandedst thy servant Moses, saying, If ye transgress, I will scatter you abroad among the nations:

:9 But if ye turn unto me, and keep my commandments, and do them; though there were of you cast out unto the uttermost part of the heaven, yet will I gather them from thence, and will bring them unto the place that I have chosen to set my name there.

Note that Nehemiah comes after Ezra to rebuild the city the second time(Ezra 4:1, 12-13, 24, 5:1, the two minor prophets Haggai & Zechariah are prophesying at the time of the rebuilding). God raises up a godly man named Nehemiah. He confesses the sins of the nation of Israel with a repentant heart. As a result, he gets right with God and God uses him and puts him in to rebuild the city of God Jerusalem. Now for the backslidden Christian who turned from God he must confess and forsake his sins and turn back to God with a repentant heart. He must obey the commandments of the Bible in faith so God can rebuild the ruins in his life caused by sin.

Ezra 3:8 Now in the second year of their coming unto the house of God at Jerusalem, in the second month, began Zerubbabel the son of Shealtiel, and Jeshua the son of Jozadak, and the remnant of their brethren the priests and the Levites, and all they that were come out of the captivity unto Jerusalem; and appointed the Levites, from twenty years old and upward, to set forward the work of the house of the LORD.

Now God raises up another godly man named Zerubbabel who was in charge of the rebuilding of the house of God. He does this so Israel has a place to offer its sacrifices again and gain God’s favor. Now the next step for the backslidden Christian who gets right with God is to go back to church and get involved in the work of God. He needs to attend a New Testament church faithfully. He needs to live for God daily and confess his sins regularly. He needs to help the church grow by the giving of his time, money, and energy to the needs of the ministry. As a result, the ministry of God builds and rebuilds the Christian’s life while he is building and rebuilding the ministry of the New Testament church.

Neh. 8:2-3 And Ezra the priest brought the law before the congregation both of men and women, and all that could hear with understanding, upon the first day of the seventh month.

And he read therein before the street that was before the water gate from the morning until midday, before the men and the women, and those that could understand; and the ears of all the people were attentive unto the book of the law.

Now Ezra restores the people spiritually and teaches them the word of God. For the Christian, this is what the preacher does. He teaches you the Bible in words that are easy to be understood. He doesn’t teach religion or tradition or his own worldly philosophy but the word of God so you can get right with God and get the blessings of God.

Neh. 7:6 These are the children of the province, that went up out of the captivity, of those that had been carried away, whom Nebuchadnezzar the king of Babylon had carried away, and came again to Jerusalem and to Judah, every one unto his city;

This is known as the restoration of Israel as a nation. Though back in the land, Israel is still under foreign rule. After the Babylonian captivity you only here about the high priests(five of them) but no kings. Israel got their religious freedom back but not their national freedom back.

Now there were four ruling kingdoms between the captivity of Israel and the New Testament beginning with John the Baptist. The book of Daniel covers this gap as well as some of the tribulation period and second coming of Jesus. Revelation also covers the tribulation and second coming and this is why the book of Daniel and Revelation have similar teachings with good cross references.

There was the Babylonian kingdom, that conquered Israel. There was the Media Persian empire that allowed the rebuilding of the city of Jerusalem, the rebuilding of the temple, and the people to return to the land of Canaan. There was the Grecian empire, and finally the Roman empire, who was in charge at the time of John the Baptist, Jesus, and the writing of the New Testament. Now between the last written book of the Old Testament and the New Testament there was about 400 years of silence from the Lord. This was a result of Israel rejecting God’s laws. So, if God wrote down what he wanted man to do would man obey God? The answer is no. Man fails God’s test again.

Mal. 3:1 Behold, I will send my messenger, and he shall prepare the way before me: and the LORD, whom ye seek, shall suddenly come to his temple, even the messenger of the covenant, whom ye delight in: behold, he shall come, saith the LORD of hosts.

By the way, the prophets from Isaiah to Malachi tell you in the first chapter who they went to. Joel and Habakkuk prophecies have no specific time line mentioned.

In the last book of the Old Testament it is prophesied that John the Baptist would be God’s messenger to prepare the people for the prophesied coming Christ. Jesus, who is the Christ, is the Lamb of God which would take away the sin of the world on the cross.

Now if you are not saved and you die without Christ you will end of in the lake of fire forever.

The Age of the Church

The Age of the Church is found in the Bible from Matthew to Revelation chapter three otherwise known as the Age of Grace. Israel as a nation is in the land of Canaan under Roman rule at the time of John the Baptist, Jesus, and the writing of the New Testament. In the last book of the Old Testament it is prophesied that John the Baptist would be God's messenger to prepare the people for the prophesied coming Christ. Jesus, who is the Christ, is the Lamb of God which would take away the sin of the world on the cross(Acts 10:43). Jesus rose from the dead and after 40 days, permanently went to heaven. A person who puts his faith in Jesus, would get saved and have Jesus through the Holy Ghost live inside of him(John 7:39). He would have the Spirit of God inside him to teach him and guide him into all truth(John 16:13). Now the test here is, if God wrote down what he wanted man to do and would live inside of man through the Holy Ghost to empower him to do right, would man obey God?

Mark 1:l-4 The beginning of the gospel of Jesus Christ, the Son of God;

:2 As it is written in the prophets, Behold, I send my messenger before thy face, which shall prepare thy way before thee.

:3 The voice of one crying in the wilderness, Prepare ye the way of the Lord, make his paths straight.

:4 John did baptize in the wilderness, and preach the baptism of repentance for the remission of sins.

So the age of the church starts with John the Baptist preparing the way(Mal. 4:5, Luke 1;17) for Jesus, who is the founder of the New Testament Church. Now John preached that Jesus, who is the Christ, is the Lamb of God which would take away the sin of the world on the cross. He preached repentance, which is when a sinner changes his attitude about God and sin. He turns his heart toward God and wants to change. He preached remission or the forgiveness of sins. If a person put their faith in Jesus alone in the blood sacrifice alone to be forgiven once for all, they would be saved. Now John's water baptism didn't save anyone, it was symbolic. It was for the remission of sins not to be remitted or forgiven. It's like when someone gets a speeding ticket. He gets it not to speed but for speeding.

Mark 1:15 And saying, The time is fulfilled, and the kingdom of God is at hand: repent ye, and believe the gospel.

John preached the gospel which is the death, burial, and bodily resurrection of Jesus Christ, who is God in the flesh and Savior of the world.

Mark 2:5 When Jesus saw their faith, he said unto the sick of the palsy, Son, thy sins be forgiven thee.

So the Savior Jesus forgave people according to their faith not their good works.

Titus 3:5-6 Not by works of righteousness which we have done, but according to his mercy he saved us, by the washing of regeneration, and renewing of the Holy Ghost; :6 Which he shed on us abundantly through Jesus Christ our Saviour;

A repentant heart towards God from sin and faith alone in the shed blood of Jesus who is God is the only way to heaven. By the way, if they say you have to get baptized to go to heaven, or be good, or take the sacraments, or be a church member, or speak in tongues to go to heaven, you know it's the wrong way to heaven. Some will say, yes it is a repentant heart towards God from sin and faith in the shed blood of Jesus plus being good in the future, it’s the wrong way to heaven. It's not Jesus plus something in the future, it's Jesus only. If they say Jesus was a man or a prophet, but not God, it’s the wrong way to heaven. If they say there are many roads to God, it’s the wrong way to heaven. Beware, if they preach out of a book that teaches another way to heaven.

John 6:28-29 Then said they unto him, What shall we do, that we might work the works of God?

:29 Jesus answered and said unto them, This is the work of God, that ye believe on him whom he hath sent.

Jesus said it plainly, to believe on him alone to go to heaven that is the work of God. John 1:41, 45, 49 He first findeth his own brother Simon, and saith unto him, We have found the Messias, which is, being interpreted, the Christ.

:45 Philip findeth Nathanael, and saith unto him, We have found him, of whom Moses in the law, and the prophets, did write, Jesus of Nazareth, the son of Joseph.

:49 Nathanael answered and saith unto him, Rabbi, thou art the Son of God; thou art the King of Israel.

So Jesus is the Messiah or the Christ. The anointed one of God. He was prophesied in the law and the prophets in the Old Testament. In the Old Testament they were looking forward and trusting in a Savior that would one day die for their sins. During the ministry of Jesus, they were trusting in Jesus visibly. Today, we look backward and trust in a Savior who died on the cross for our sins.

Matt. 16:18 And I say also unto thee, That thou art Peter, and upon this rock I will build my church; and the gates of hell shall not prevail against it.

Now the church is established upon the confession that Jesus is the Chnst.

Matt. 28:18-20 And Jesus came and spake unto them, saying, All power is given unto me in heaven and in earth.

:19 Go ye therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost:

:20 Teaching them to observe all things whatsoever I have commanded you: and, lo, I am with you alway, even unto the end of the world. Amen.

The church goes out into the world and preaches the gospel of Jesus or how to go to heaven. Next, they baptize their converts, then teach them the word of God on how to live. So the Christian's job is to tell others how to go to heaven.

I John 3:4 Whosoever committeth sin transgresseth also the law: for sin is the transgression of the law.

The Christian teaches that there is a knowledge of sin. Sin is breaking God's word. That is the Old King James 1611 A.V., non-copyrighted Bible.

Mark 9:45-46 And if thy foot offend thee, cut it off: it is better for thee to enter halt into life, than having two feet to be cast into hell, into the fire that never shall be quenched:

:46 Where their worm dieth not, and the fire is not quenched.

The Christian teaches that there is a penalty for committing a sin. Hell is a place of judgement, which consists of unquenchable fire. If a lost sinner dies unforgiven, he will burn in the fire forever.

I John 1:7 But if we walk in the light, as he is in the light, we have fellowship one with another, and the blood of Jesus Christ his Son cleanseth us from all sin.

The Christian teaches that there is a payment for sin. Jesus shed his blood on the cross to wash away all of a lost person's sins. That's all the past, present, and future sins committed. From the time you are born to the time you die, they are all paid for by the blood of Jesus.

Rom. 10:13 For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved.

The Christian teaches how one can receive the payment for sin. That is to call upon the name of the Lord with a repentant heart in faith to be saved.

Eph. 1:13 In whom ye also trusted, after that ye heard the word of truth, the gospel of your salvation: in whom also after that ye believed, ye were sealed with that holy Spirit of promise,

The Christian teaches how what will happen as a result of receiving the payment for sin. You will receive the Holy Ghost of God and be sealed forever. As a result, you can never lose your salvation.

Acts 2:41 Then they that gladly received his word were baptized: and the same day there were added unto them about three thousand souls.

The Christian teaches after you get saved you need to be baptized in water in the name of the Father, Son, and the Holy Ghost by a qualified ordained New Testament Church elder.

Heb. 10:25 Not forsaking the assembling of ourselves together, as the manner of some is; but exhorting one another: and so much the more, as ye see the day approaching.

The Christian teaches that the new baptized convert should go to a New Testament Church where he can learn the word of God.

II Tim. 3:16 All scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness:

The Christian teaches about doctrine(teach what is right), reproof(teach what is wrong), correction(teach how to make the wrong right), and instruction(teach them how to keep it right).

I Pet. 1:15-16 But as he which hath called you is holy, so be ye holy in all manner of conversation;

:16 Because it is written, Be ye holy; for I am holy.

The Christian teaches and practices holiness. We must live a holy life in the way we talk(no dirty language), the way we dress(we should dress modestly, not draw attention to our bodies but our character), the music we listen to(it should move our heart to serve God not our feet to serve sin), the places we go(they ought to honor God), what we keep out of our bodies(we shouldn't drink alcohol, smoke, do drugs, fornicate, etc.), the people we hang around(apart from work, I only hang around good Christians), the way we work, behave, raise our families, treat our neighbors, etc.

I Thes. 4:16-18 For the Lord himself shall descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of the archangel, and with the trump of God: and the dead in Christ shall rise first:

:17 Then we which are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds, to meet the Lord in the air: and so shall we ever be with the Lord.

:18 Wherefore comfort one another with these words.

The Christian teaches that we should be looking forward to the second coming of Christ. Jesus is coming back. Are you prepared to meet him? If he would come back today, what would you do differently in your life?

II Cor. 5:10 For we must all appear before the judgment seat of Christ; that every one may receive the things done in his body, according to that he hath done, whether it be good or bad.

The Christian teaches that one day the Christian's works in this life will be judged and a reward will be given.

Acts 1:8 But ye shall receive power, after that the Holy Ghost is come upon you: and ye shall be witnesses unto me both in Jerusalem, and in all Judaea, and in Samaria, and unto the uttermost part of the earth.

The church is to multiply itself by starting other churches all around the world. We need to multiply locally(Jerusalem), in neighboring areas(Judaea), to people we don't like(Samaria), and worldwide(unto the uttermost part of the earth).

II Tim. 3:5 Having a form of godliness, but denying the power thereof: from such turn away.

However, people like to be religious and appear godly, but will have nothing to do with God. They will have their own English copyrighted Bible other than the Old King James 1611 A.V. They will have their own water baptism other than full immersion after someone gets saved. They will have their own gospel or way to heaven other than being saved once for all with a repentant heart and faith in the blood of Jesus.

Mark 7:7-9 Howbeit in vain do they worship me, teaching for doctrines the commandments of men.

:8 For laying aside the commandment of God, ye hold the tradition of men, as the washing of pots and cups: and many other such like things ye do.

:9 And he said unto them, Full well ye reject the commandment of God, that ye may keep your own tradition.

Religious leaders will teach their own man-made doctrines. They will invent and follow their own traditions, which is called Pharisee-ism. Their man-made doctrines on how to live and serve God as well as their religious traditions will contradict the word of God. Meanwhile, the carnal Christian who is saved likes to play church. As long as his finances, family situations, and social life are going well, he could care less if the rest of the world is going to the lake of fire. Sadducee-ism is when you ignore certain commandments of the word of God, and accuse those who keep those commandments legalism. Beware of Christian churches who get caught up in Sadducee-ism and Pharisee-ism. Go to a church where they live godly or keep the commandments of God in the power of the Holy Spirit.

Rev. 3:14-18 And unto the angel of the church of the Laodiceans write; These things saith the Amen, the faithful and true witness, the beginning of the creation of God;

:15 I know thy works, that thou art neither cold nor hot: I would thou wert cold or hot.

:16 So then because thou art lukewarm, and neither cold nor hot, I will spue thee out of my mouth.

:17 Because thou sayest, I am rich, and increased with goods, and have need of nothing; and knowest not that thou art wretched, and miserable, and poor, and blind, and naked:

:18 I counsel thee to buy of me gold tried in the fire, that thou mayest be rich; and white raiment, that thou mayest be clothed, and that the shame of thy nakedness do not appear; and anoint thine eyes with eyesalve, that thou mayest see.

The fallen church is cold or lukewarm for Jesus, not hot to serve Jesus. The fallen church likes to trust in the riches of this life(money-big offerings, numbers-big attendance, prestige-big name). They like to use worldly gimmicks to get you to church rather than the power of God through the foolishness of preaching and through prayer.

They use emotion and coercion techniques to get you to keep people in line, rather than let the Holy Ghost convict people and keep them in line. They are interested in their image(looks good) and their politics(sounds good), but their religious image and politics are spiritually no good. They like to develop programs that will keep members happy and money rolling in rather than preach the truth to them. If they have to compromise the word of God to meet their objectives, they don't care. Hence the church as a rule, is full of phony religion, carnality, sensuality, hypocrisy, selfishness, prejudice, etc. To make a long story short let me summarize the failure of the churches of even today. First of all to qualify as a church you must preach the correct way to heaven and believe it and preach out of the right book(l611 Old King James A.V.). These two requirements wipe out most of them in any town in America. Now the few that do qualify are supposed to preach the gospel to the lost around them. So, when is the last time someone from church preached to you how to go to heaven or how to live. The holiness of the church is supposed to affect the rest of the country. In case you haven't noticed, this world is getting worse and worse all the time. Now the test here is, if God wrote down what he wanted man to do and would live inside of man through the Holy Ghost to empower him to do right, would man obey God? The answer is no. If you don't believe me, take a look outside at the world. Let's face it, man fails God's test again.

I Thes. 4:17 Then we which are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds, to meet the Lord in the air: and so shall we ever be with the Lord.

As a result of the churches failure to do what God said, judgement will follow. The church is raptured out of the earth and taken to heaven to be judged for their works.

Meanwhile, the seven years of tribulation begins on earth on all those who have rejected Jesus as their Savior. Now if you have not accepted Jesus as your Savior and are not saved, when you die, you will end of in the lake of fire forever.

The Tribulation and the Age of the Kingdom

The Tribulation and the Age of the Kingdom is found in Revelations chapter 4-20. Now the seven year tribulation starts right after the church is raptured out of the earth and taken to heaven to be judged for their works. The seven years of tribulation is a transition period between the age of the church and when Jesus sets up his literal kingdom on earth where he rules from a physical earthly throne. During this period of time, Israel as a nation accepts Jesus as their Savior from their sins. As a result, after the tribulation, Jesus becomes their earthly king and rules from the land of Canaan whose capital is Jerusalem. Hence, all the Old Testament prophesies of Jesus’s earthly kingdom are fulfilled. Now the test for man here is given a perfect government with a perfect King, no satanic influence or opposition, will man do what God says.

Acts 1:9-11 And when he had spoken these things, while they beheld, he was taken up; and a cloud received him out of their sight.

:10 And while they looked stedfastly toward heaven as he went up, behold, two men stood by them in white apparel;

:11 Which also said, Ye men of Galilee, why stand ye gazing up into heaven? this same Jesus, which is taken up from you into heaven, shall so come in like manner as ye have seen him go into heaven.

When Jesus left this earth, he left in a cloud. The angels said he would return the same way he left.

I Thes. 4:16-17 For the Lord himself shall descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of the archangel, and with the trump of God: and the dead in Christ shall rise first:

:17 Then we which are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds, to meet the Lord in the air: and so shall we ever be with the Lord.

At the rapture, right before the tribulation starts, Jesus returns in the clouds to take the church or saved Christians to heaven to be judged for their works on earth.

II Thes. 2:1-4 Now we beseech you, brethren, by the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ, and by our gathering together unto him,

:3 Let no man deceive you by any means: for that day shall not come, except there come a falling away first, and that man of sin be revealed, the son of perdition;

:4 Who opposeth and exalteth himself above all that is called God, or that is worshipped; so that he as God sitteth in the temple of God, shewing himself that he is God.

Now the second coming of Jesus is when he lands on the earth again. Everyone who is saved up to the rapture will get glorified eternal bodies at the rapture in the clouds and go to heaven. After seven years of tribulation, they will return to earth with Jesus and be gathered together with Jesus on earth, to serve as helpers in his earthly kingdom. The first time Jesus came to earth, he came as a Savior for sin. The second time he will come to conquer the world and judge the world for their sin. Now at the beginning of the tribulation, the son of perdition or the man of sin is revealed. He is the beast or the antichrist, who claims to be the Messiah or God incarnate. However, Jesus was God incarnate and he already came. You see the nation of Israel rejected Jesus as their Messiah. They were looking for a conquering Messiah not a Savior the first time. So the beast gives them what their flesh wanted in the first place. He opposes God and exalts himself above God and sets up his earthly Satanic kingdom.

II Thes. 2:5-7 Remember ye not, that, when I was yet with you, I told you these things?

:6 And now ye know what withholdeth that he might be revealed in his time.

:7 For the mystery of iniquity doth already work: only he who now letteth will let, until he be taken out of the way.

Now the mystery of iniquity is the false prophet. He is an imitation of the Holy Spirit. He opposes the work of the Spirit. When the church is raptured the Spirit of God leaves the earth temporarily and is taken out of the way of the false prophet.

II Thes. 2:8-9 And then shall that Wicked be revealed, whom the Lord shall consume with the spirit of his mouth, and shall destroy with the brightness of his coming:

:9 Even him, whose coming is after the working of Satan with all power and signs and lying wonders,

Now the work of the false prophet or false Holy Spirit will encourage people to follow the false Messiah. The false prophet can perform miracles, however, they will glorify the false Messiah and his teachings, not Jesus and the Bible.

II Thes 2:10-12 And with all deceivableness of unrighteousness in them that perish; because they received not the love of the truth, that they might be saved.

:11 And for this cause God shall send them strong delusion, that they should believe a lie:

:12 That they all might be damned who believed not the truth, but had pleasure in unrighteousness.

God uses the false prophet to strongly deceive and delude the ones who rejected Jesus as their Savior before the rapture of the church. The application here is if you are lost you had better get saved before the rapture of the church. If you are still lost after it happens, you will not get another chance to be saved because God will make you believe in the false prophet and the beast. Now nobody knows when the rapture of the Christians will take place, it could happen at any moment, so don’t delay, get saved today.

Rev. 11:1-2 And there was given me a reed like unto a rod: and the angel stood, saying, Rise, and measure the temple of God, and the altar, and them that worship therein.

:2 But the court which is without the temple leave out, and measure it not; for it is given unto the Gentiles: and the holy city shall they tread under foot forty and two months.

For the first half of the seven year tribulation or forty two months will the Gentiles or non-Jews will reign at Jerusalem with the beast as their king. The Jews will accept the false Messiah during this time. However, at the middle of the tribulation the Jews as a nation will accept the real Messiah Jesus as their Lord and Savior and will flee to the wilderness from the persecution of the false Messiah.

Rev. 11:3-7 And I will give power unto my two witnesses, and they shall prophesy a thousand two hundred and threescore days, clothed in sackcloth.

:4 These are the two olive trees, and the two candlesticks standing before the God of the earth.

:5 And if any man will hurt them, fire proceedeth out of their mouth, and devoureth their enemies: and if any man will hurt them, he must in this manner be killed.

:6 These have power to shut heaven, that it rain not in the days of their prophecy: and have power over waters to turn them to blood, and to smite the earth with all plagues, as often as they will.

:7 And when they shall have finished their testimony, the beast that ascendeth out of the bottomless pit shall make war against them, and shall overcome them, and kill them.

Also, during this time, God will have two witnesses that will preach the truth that Jesus is the only way to heaven and the true Messiah. They are given special powers to kill their enemies, keep it from raining, plague the earth, and turn the waters into blood.

This will go on while the false Messiah reigns from Jerusalem.

Rev. 17:8 The beast that thou sawest was, and is not; and shall ascend out of the bottomless pit, and go into perdition: and they that dwell on the earth shall wonder, whose names were not written in the book of life from the foundation of the world, when they behold the beast that was, and is not, and yet is.

Now after reigning for forty two months, the beast or antichrist is killed. However, he is resurrected from the dead like Jesus was. By the way, from the beginning of the ministry of John the Baptist who prepared the way for the Lord until the Lord was crucified was forty two months.

Rev. 12:7-9 And there was war in heaven: Michael and his angels fought against the dragon; and the dragon fought and his angels,

:8 And prevailed not; neither was their place found any more in heaven.

:9 And the great dragon was cast out, that old serpent, called the Devil, and Satan,

At the middle of the tribulation, the Devil and his angels are defeated and kicked out of heaven permanently and cast down to the earth.

Rev. 12:14 And to the woman were given two wings of a great eagle, that she might fly into the wilderness, into her place, where she is nourished for a time, and times, and half a time, from the face of the serpent.

The woman is the saved nation Israel which hides from the Devil and his persecution for forty two months.

Rev. 12:17 And the dragon was wroth with the woman, and went to make war with the remnant of her seed, which keep the commandments of God, and have the testimony of Jesus Christ.

The dragon of devil persecutes all of those who have gotten or get saved in the last forty two months of the tribulation.

Rev. 13:4-5 And they worshipped the dragon which gave power unto the beast: and they worshipped the beast, saying, Who is like unto the beast? who is able to make war with him?

:5 And there was given unto him a mouth speaking great things and blasphemies; and power was given unto him to continue forty and two months.

Now the Devil or the dragon is an imitation of God the Father. He gives his power to the beast. It’s just like God the Father giving his power to Jesus while he was on earth. In this life and in the future all the Devil and his devils can do is pervert what is right.

God says what is right and the Devil perverts it. God has a perfect Bible, the 1611 A.V. Old King James, the Devil has a bunch of counterfeits that are copyrighted Bibles. The Devil has his music, like the country, rap, rock, Christian country, Christian rap, and Christian rock, that will move your heart to serve him and your sinful fleshly desires whereas God has those church hymns that move your spirit to serve Jesus. The devil has his clothes that will draw attention to your body. He will also try to get you to walk around with the least amount of clothes on your body and be as revealing as possible. God on the other hand has you dress modestly that will draw attention to your character and bring glory to him. The Devil has his religion God has his. To make a long story short in terms of money, God has the original dollar bill and the Devil has all of the counterfeits bills. Only one dollar bill has the power to purchase, while the rest will bring judgement in your life.

Rev. 13:6-7 And he opened his mouth in blasphemy against God, to blaspheme his name, and his tabernacle, and them that dwell in heaven.

:7 And it was given unto him to make war with the saints, and to overcome them: and power was given him over all kindreds, and tongues, and nations.

Now the beast blasphemes or curses and reviles God, the name of God, the tabernacle of God, and the people and heavenly creatures of God. The beast has power to kill the saints or saved people of God as well as power over the nations of the earth.

Rev. 13:8-9 And all that dwell upon the earth shall worship him, whose names are not written in the book of life of the Lamb slain from the foundation of the world.

:9 If any man have an ear, let him hear.

All the lost people will worship the beast. The beast will be a worldwide leader with a worldwide religion with worldwide power and resources with Satan and the false prophet backing him. By the way, just because you believe in a religion that has a worldwide leader and has worldwide influence with worldwide power and resources doesn’t mean that God is behind it. What makes a New Testament Church is that it has the right salvation, the right Bible, the right holiness standards, and it tries to evangelize the world and multiply itself the way the Bible said to. Money, numbers, and prestige is not a measure of how good a church is.

Rev. 13:11-13 And I beheld another beast coming up out of the earth; and he had two horns like a lamb, and he spake as a dragon.

:12 And he exerciseth all the power of the first beast before him, and causeth the earth and them which dwell therein to worship the first beast, whose deadly wound was healed.

:13 And he doeth great wonders, so that he maketh fire come down from heaven on the earth in the sight of men,

Now the false prophet, is also called a beast. He is responsible for the world worshipping the antichrist, who is killed and then his body is resurrected. He has power to do wonders like making fire come down from heaven. In the Old Testament, God’s prophet Elijah was able to make fire come down. So the point here is not to doubt the miracle, but find out who is behind the miracle, God or Satan.

Rev. 13:14-15 And deceiveth them that dwell on the earth by the means of those miracles which he had power to do in the sight of the beast; saying to them that dwell on the earth, that they should make an image to the beast, which had the wound by a sword, and did live.

:15 And he had power to give life unto the image of the beast, that the image of the beast should both speak, and cause that as many as would not worship the image of the beast should be killed.

So the false prophet performs miracles including making the image or statue of the beast to speak. Just because you see apparitions or a statue crying etc. doesn’t mean it is from God. Find out who is behind the miracle. If the miracle leads you contrary to the Bible then the miracle or wonder is from the devil.

Rev. 13:16-18 And he causeth all, both small and great, rich and poor, free and bond, to receive a mark in their right hand, or in their foreheads:

:17 And that no man might buy or sell, save he that had the mark, or the name of the beast, or the number of his name.

:18 Here is wisdom. Let him that hath understanding count the number of the beast: for it is the number of a man; and his number is Six hundred threescore and six.

So the false prophet requires everyone on earth to be marked so they can buy and sell.

This is equivalent of putting a computer chip in your hand that has all of your information on it that can be tracked globally. The government says, if you don’t have a chip in your hand you can’t buy or sell. So we see the devil’s people will be marked.

Rev. 19:20 And the beast was taken, and with him the false prophet that wrought miracles before him, with which he deceived them that had received the mark of the beast, and them that worshipped his image. These both were cast alive into a lake of fire burning with brimstone.

At the end of the tribulation the beast and false prophet are captured alive and immediately judged. They are thrown into the lake of fire. Also, everyone who didn’t get saved in the tribulation will be killed at the end of the tribulation and end up in hell.

This is the fate of all those who reject Jesus as their Savior whether they go to church and practice their religion or do nothing.

Rev. 16:13-14 And I saw three unclean spirits like frogs come out of the mouth of the dragon, and out of the mouth of the beast, and out of the mouth of the false prophet.

:14 For they are the spirits of devils, working miracles, which go forth unto the kings of the earth and of the whole world, to gather them to the battle of that great day of God Almighty.

So here we have the false trinity, with their satanic miracles, and they gather the world together to fight Jesus at the end of the tribulation. Remember that Jesus during the tribulation is judging the Christians in heaven and at the end he returns to earth as king with his army, the glorified Christians with eternal bodies.

Matt. 24:9 Then shall they deliver you up to be afflicted, and shall kill you: and ye shall be hated of all nations for my name's sake.

So during the tribulation, the Christians will be a hated and hunted people. They will stick out because they don’t have the mark and don’t worship the beast.

Matt 24:13-14 But he that shall endure unto the end, the same shall be saved.

:14 And this gospel of the kingdom shall be preached in all the world for a witness unto all nations; and then shall the end come.

The Christians that endure will be saved physically and will go into the millennium. The gospel that Jesus is the Messiah and that he will set up his kingdom will be known worldwide. Everyone alive will make a choice, Jesus or the antichrist. It’s the same way today, you will either accept Jesus as your Savior from sin once for all apart from any work in this life or you won’t. The choice is yours.

Rev. 7:3-4 Saying, Hurt not the earth, neither the sea, nor the trees, till we have sealed the servants of our God in their foreheads.

:4 And I heard the number of them which were sealed: and there were sealed an hundred and forty and four thousand of all the tribes of the children of Israel.

So 144, 000 saved Jews will be receive the mark of God in their foreheads. They will go throughout the world and preach the gospel that Jesus is the only way to heaven and they will survive the tribulation. By the way, the Bible teaches that the 144,000 are male virgin Jews and not Jehovah Witnesses. Jehovah Witnesses is just another false religion backed by the Devil.

Rev. 7:9-10, 13-14 After this I beheld, and, lo, a great multitude, which no man could number, of all nations, and kindreds, and people, and tongues, stood before the throne, and before the Lamb, clothed with white robes, and palms in their hands;

:10 And cried with a loud voice, saying, Salvation to our God which sitteth upon the throne, and unto the Lamb.

:13 And one of the elders answered, saying unto me, What are these which are arrayed in white robes? and whence came they?

:14 And I said unto him, Sir, thou knowest. And he said to me, These are they which came out of great tribulation, and have washed their robes, and made them white in the blood of the Lamb.

As a result of the preaching of the 144,000 a great worldwide revival occurs and great multitudes of people get saved from all nations. Real revival comes from real Holy Ghost backed preaching. Today, a lot of churches have big attendances based on gimmicks, promotions, programs, and the like. However, big attendance and revival are two different things. Regardless of how many churches we have in this country and how many profess to be Christian, things morally just continually get worse and worse. Although we have a lot of religion and activity in this country, we don’t do it God’s way and hence God is not in it and no real revival. For example, in the old days when they had revival, bar rooms were shut down and bar owners were getting saved. Not much of that today. However, you can have revival in your life if you do it God’s way. Doing it God’s way starts with salvation and continues by doing what God says according to the Bible.

Rev. 19:7-9 Let us be glad and rejoice, and give honour to him: for the marriage of the Lamb is come, and his wife hath made herself ready.

:8 And to her was granted that she should be arrayed in fine linen, clean and white: for the fine linen is the righteousness of saints.

:9 And he saith unto me, Write, Blessed are they which are called unto the marriage supper of the Lamb. And he saith unto me, These are the true sayings of God.

Now after the Christians are judged for their works up in heaven, those saved in the church age become Christ’s bride. So, Jesus Christ has a female bride, the saved in the church age. The Holy Ghost, God the Father, and everyone else saved up to the rapture are the wedding quests at the marriage. God the Father is already married to a wife, the saved of Israel. In the Bible, marriage is between a man and a woman only. Notice that the clothing of the church is the righteousness of the saints. God is holy and he demands that we live a holy life. Now holiness is keeping the commandments of God in the power of the Holy Ghost. This is what will determine how many rewards a Christian will get in heaven.

Rev. 19:11-14 And I saw heaven opened, and behold a white horse; and he that sat upon him was called Faithful and True, and in righteousness he doth judge and make war.

:12 His eyes were as a flame of fire, and on his head were many crowns; and he had a name written, that no man knew, but he himself.

:13 And he was clothed with a vesture dipped in blood: and his name is called The Word of God.

:14 And the armies which were in heaven followed him upon white horses, clothed in fine linen, white and clean.

After the marriage supper of the Lamb, Jesus and all the Christians return to take over the earth for a 1000 year reign. The Christians make up God’s army. At the end of the tribulation, Jesus returns from heaven he returns on a horse. At the rapture or the beginning of the tribulation, he returned to meet the Christians in the air. Now Jesus’s name is the Word of God, because he is the Bible incarnate. The Bible is God’s spoken word and hence must be perfect. If your Bible has errors in it, it is because you have the wrong one.

Rev. 19:15-16 And out of his mouth goeth a sharp sword, that with it he should smite the nations: and he shall rule them with a rod of iron: and he treadeth the winepress of the fierceness and wrath of Almighty God.

:16 And he hath on his vesture and on his thigh a name written, KING OF KINGS, AND LORD OF LORDS.

So Jesus judges the nations of the earth and takes over. He is the King of kings and Lord of lords.

Rev. 19:19-21 And I saw the beast, and the kings of the earth, and their armies, gathered together to make war against him that sat on the horse, and against his army.

:20 And the beast was taken, and with him the false prophet that wrought miracles before him, with which he deceived them that had received the mark of the beast, and them that worshipped his image. These both were cast alive into a lake of fire burning with brimstone.

:21 And the remnant were slain with the sword of him that sat upon the horse, which sword proceeded out of his mouth: and all the fowls were filled with their flesh.

Now the beast or the antichrist gathers the armies of his worldwide kingdom to take on the Christ and his invading armies. This battle is over quickly and the false prophet and the beast are thrown into the lake of fire and their army is completely destroyed.

Matt. 24:30-31 And then shall appear the sign of the Son of man in heaven: and then shall all the tribes of the earth mourn, and they shall see the Son of man coming in the clouds of heaven with power and great glory.

:31 And he shall send his angels with a great sound of a trumpet, and they shall gather together his elect from the four winds, from one end of heaven to the other.

Here we see that God’s elect or saved people who survive the tribulation will be gathered by the angels of God to safety. These are the humans that go into the tribulation and have kids and repopulate the earth again. They do not get a glorified body until the end of the millennium.

II Pet. 3:10-13 But the day of the Lord will come as a thief in the night; in the which the heavens shall pass away with a great noise, and the elements shall melt with fervent heat, the earth also and the works that are therein shall be burned up.

:11 Seeing then that all these things shall be dissolved, what manner of persons ought ye to be in all holy conversation and godliness,

:12 Looking for and hasting unto the coming of the day of God, wherein the heavens being on fire shall be dissolved, and the elements shall melt with fervent heat?

:13 Nevertheless we, according to his promise, look for new heavens and a new earth, wherein dwelleth righteousness.

After the Lord conquers the earth he will create a new heaven and earth. Just like the Lord destroyed the earth in Noah’s days with a worldwide flood, he will destroy it again with a worldwide fire. He will also destroy the stars in the heavens by fire as well. When it is all over and the millennium starts, the whole universe will be purified. However, the only thing not removed is the sin nature of those who go into the millennium.

Matt. 25:31-34, 41, 46 When the Son of man shall come in his glory, and all the holy angels with him, then shall he sit upon the throne of his glory:

:32 And before him shall be gathered all nations: and he shall separate them one from another, as a shepherd divideth his sheep from the goats:

:33 And he shall set the sheep on his right hand, but the goats on the left.

:34 Then shall the King say unto them on his right hand, Come, ye blessed of my Father, inherit the kingdom prepared for you from the foundation of the world:

:41 Then shall he say also unto them on the left hand, Depart from me, ye cursed, into everlasting fire, prepared for the devil and his angels:

:46 And these shall go away into everlasting punishment: but the righteous into life eternal.

After Jesus takes out the antichrist and his army, he will gather all of the nations and judge them. Those who were saved and served the Lord during the tribulation are spared and get to join Jesus in the millennium. Those who served the antichrist well be condemned to everlasting fire.

Rev. 20:1-3 And I saw an angel come down from heaven, having the key of the bottomless pit and a great chain in his hand.

:2 And he laid hold on the dragon, that old serpent, which is the Devil, and Satan, and bound him a thousand years,

:3 And cast him into the bottomless pit, and shut him up, and set a seal upon him, that he should deceive the nations no more, till the thousand years should be fulfilled: and after that he must be loosed a little season.

At the end of the tribulation, Satan is bound and thrown into the bottomless pit for 1000 years or during the millennial reign of Jesus. During the millennium there will be no devil or any devils in the world. Jesus will be king, the glorified perfected Christians will help in the governmental reign, and everyone that goes into the millennium will be saved.

Rev. 20:4, 6 And I saw thrones, and they sat upon them, and judgment was given unto them: and I saw the souls of them that were beheaded for the witness of Jesus, and for the word of God, and which had not worshipped the beast, neither his image, neither had received his mark upon their foreheads, or in their hands; and they lived and reigned with Christ a thousand years.

:6 Blessed and holy is he that hath part in the first resurrection: on such the second death hath no power, but they shall be priests of God and of Christ, and shall reign with him a thousand years.

So the Christians saved through the church age and the martyrs killed in the tribulation reign as kings with Jesus. Each Christian will be in charge of a certain location.

Is. 2:2-4 And it shall come to pass in the last days, that the mountain of the LORD's house shall be established in the top of the mountains, and shall be exalted above the hills; and all nations shall flow unto it.

:3 And many people shall go and say, Come ye, and let us go up to the mountain of the LORD, to the house of the God of Jacob; and he will teach us of his ways, and we will walk in his paths: for out of Zion shall go forth the law, and the word of the LORD from Jerusalem.

:4 And he shall judge among the nations, and shall rebuke many people: and they shall beat their swords into plowshares, and their spears into pruninghooks: nation shall not lift up sword against nation, neither shall they learn war any more.

All the nations of the world will go to Jerusalem where Jesus will physically rule in his resurrected body and learn the Bible. The Bible will be the law book by which we will all be judged. There won’t be any other religious books, or 200 different translations of the Bible, but just one perfect Bible. It will be equivalent to the one I have in my possession, the Old King James, 1611 A.V. for the English speaking people. If the Bible, the law of the Lord, is going to be used in a millennial paradise by Jesus, then that’s what we should use and practice today. So the worldwide theocracy setup by the antichrist is replaced with the worldwide theocracy government of Jesus. He will rule with a rod of iron. He is the perfect dictator, God in the glorified flesh. With no opposition, there will be worldwide peace and there will be no more wars.

Zech. 13:2-3 And it shall come to pass in that day, saith the LORD of hosts, that I will cut off the names of the idols out of the land, and they shall no more be remembered: and also I will cause the prophets and the unclean spirit to pass out of the land.

:3 And it shall come to pass, that when any shall yet prophesy, then his father and his mother that begat him shall say unto him, Thou shalt not live; for thou speakest lies in the name of the LORD: and his father and his mother that begat him shall thrust him through when he prophesieth.

During the millennium there will be no idol worship or false religion. There will be no Devil or devils anywhere to be found. Also there will be no prophets because we will have Jesus on earth talking directly. If anyone gets caught prophesying or promoting another religion they will be executed.

Is. 11:1-5 And there shall come forth a rod out of the stem of Jesse, and a Branch shall grow out of his roots:

:2 And the spirit of the LORD shall rest upon him, the spirit of wisdom and understanding, the spirit of counsel and might, the spirit of knowledge and of the fear of the LORD;

:3 And shall make him of quick understanding in the fear of the LORD: and he shall not judge after the sight of his eyes, neither reprove after the hearing of his ears:

:4 But with righteousness shall he judge the poor, and reprove with equity for the meek of the earth: and he shall smite the earth: with the rod of his mouth, and with the breath of his lips shall he slay the wicked.

:5 And righteousness shall be the girdle of his loins, and faithfulness the girdle of his reins.

Jesus will rule with complete wisdom and understanding. We won’t have to worry anymore about corruption in government because everyone in the government will be sinless and can do no wrong. The law system will be swift and accurate. No one will get away with anything. Now the surviving saved people of the tribulation will have kids, and those kids will have kids, and so on and so forth. These kids will be born with a sin nature and will have to choose between Jesus or their own righteousness. Those who choose their own righteousness and commit sins worthy of death will be executed. On earth, Jesus will judge, reprove, smite, and slay the evil doer.

Is. 11:6-9 The wolf also shall dwell with the lamb, and the leopard shall lie down with the kid; and the calf and the young lion and the fatling together; and a little child shall lead them.

:7 And the cow and the bear shall feed; their young ones shall lie down together: and the lion shall eat straw like the ox.

:8 And the sucking child shall play on the hole of the asp, and the weaned child shall put his hand on the cockatrice' den.

:9 They shall not hurt nor destroy in all my holy mountain: for the earth shall be full of the knowledge of the LORD, as the waters cover the sea.

The animals of the earth will be at peace with one another. The child will be able to play with the snake and not have to worry. The wolf will not eat the sheep nor will the lion eat the calf. There will be a paradise and peace on earth.

Is. 65:17-20 For, behold, I create new heavens and a new earth: and the former shall not be remembered, nor come into mind.

:18 But be ye glad and rejoice for ever in that which I create: for, behold, I create Jerusalem a rejoicing, and her people a joy.

:19 And I will rejoice in Jerusalem, and joy in my people: and the voice of weeping shall be no more heard in her, nor the voice of crying.

:20 There shall be no more thence an infant of days, nor an old man that hath not filled his days: for the child shall die an hundred years old; but the sinner being an hundred years old shall be accursed.

The life span on earth will be like it was before the flood. Someone who is 100 years old will be considered a child.

Is. 65:21-23 And they shall build houses, and inhabit them; and they shall plant vineyards, and eat the fruit of them.

:22 They shall not build, and another inhabit; they shall not plant, and another eat: for as the days of a tree are the days of my people, and mine elect shall long enjoy the work of their hands.

:23 They shall not labour in vain, nor bring forth for trouble; for they are the seed of the blessed of the LORD, and their offspring with them.

There will be prosperity in the millennium for those who serve the Lord and their offspring of kids, grandkids, etc.

Zech. 14:16 And it shall come to pass, that every one that is left of all the nations which came against Jerusalem shall even go up from year to year to worship the King, the LORD of hosts, and to keep the feast of tabernacles.

So all the nations of the world will worship the Lord. There will only be one worldwide religion and that is fundamental Christianity. The Bible will be taken literally.

There will be no other non-Christian religions or other phony sects of Christianity. There will be only one Bible, one standard, one salvation, one water baptism, one communion, and one way to serve the Lord.

Zech 14:17-19 And it shall be, that whoso will not come up of all the families of the earth unto Jerusalem to worship the King, the LORD of hosts, even upon them shall be no rain.

:18 And if the family of Egypt go not up, and come not, that have no rain; there shall be the plague, wherewith the LORD will smite the heathen that come not up to keep the feast of tabernacles.

:19 This shall be the punishment of Egypt, and the punishment of all nations that come not up to keep the feast of tabernacles.

If the nations do not serve the Lord, they will not have rain for their crops and they will be plagued with diseases.

Rev. 20:7-8 And when the thousand years are expired, Satan shall be loosed out of his prison,

:8 And shall go out to deceive the nations which are in the four quarters of the earth, Gog, and Magog, to gather them together to battle: the number of whom is as the sand of the sea.

At the end of the 1000 year reign of Christ, the Devil will be released from the bottomless pit. He will be given a time to deceive the people into following him and not Jesus. So after having a paradise for 1000 years, there is a multitude like the sand of the sea that never got saved during the millennium that turn on Jesus and join the Devil. The paradise on earth includes Jesus as king, a perfect government, a perfect atmosphere, and all of your wants and needs are met for you and your offspring if you do what God says. So what does man do, he rebels against God in great multitude the first chance he gets. Once again, man fails the test and doesn’t serve the Lord. As a result, the judgement on man follows.

Rev. 20:9-10 And they went up on the breadth of the earth, and compassed the camp of the saints about, and the beloved city: and fire came down from God out of heaven, and devoured them.

:10 And the devil that deceived them was cast into the lake of fire and brimstone, where the beast and the false prophet are, and shall be tormented day and night for ever and ever.

Everyone that joins the Devil against Jesus will be destroyed in battle. Also the Devil will be cast into the lake of fire.

Rev. 1:5 And from Jesus Christ, who is the faithful witness, and the first begotten of the dead, and the prince of the kings of the earth. Unto him that loved us, and washed us from our sins in his own blood,

Now salvation will be through the blood of Jesus in the millennium. This is a repentant heart toward God and faith alone in the blood alone for salvation. What follows the millennium is the Great White Throne judgement or the final judgement. After this God will create a new heaven and new earth. It will be like it was in the garden of Eden, a perfect and sinless environment for man. So the Bible through the ages makes a circle and end up where it started. Those who trusted Christ for salvation will live forever with a perfect body and a perfect environment. Those who rejected Christ will burn forever in a lake of fire. The choice is yours.

Salvation Message

Now, if you are not sure you are saved and would like to be saved read closely. All verses can be found in the King James Bible. There are two places where a person can go when they die, either heaven (Gen. 1:1 In the beginning God created the heaven and the earth.) or the lake of fire (Rev. 20:15 And whosoever was not found written in the book of life was cast into the lake of fire.).

Now nobody really wants to go to the lake of fire when they die. However, people go to the lake of fire because of sin (Rom. 3:23 For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God;). Now sin is when you break God’s law. Have you ever made a foolish thought?(Prov. 24:9 The thought of foolishness is sin: and the scorner is an abomination to men.). Have you ever lied before? (Exod. 20:16 Thou shalt not bear false witness against thy neighbour.). Have you ever gotten punished as a kid for being bad (Exod. 20:12 Honour thy father and thy mother: that thy days may be long upon the land which the LORD thy God giveth thee.). Plain and simply we all have sinned.

God will punish your sin. Do parents have a right to punish kids if they are bad? Sure they do. Well doesn’t God have a right to punish us? Yes he does, and that is why there is a hell and a lake of fire. We all deserve it, but God doesn’t want us to go there (Mark 9:43-44 And if thy hand offend thee, cut it off: it is better for thee to enter into life maimed, than having two hands to go into hell, into the fire that never shall be quenched: Where their worm dieth not, and the fire is not quenched.).

We must be sorry that we have sinned against God and repent (IICor. 7:10 For godly sorrow worketh repentance to salvation not to be repented of: but the sorrow of the world worketh death.). Repentance means to turn to God from our sins (we want to change, not just sorry we got caught). It is a change of heart toward God. Our desires toward God changes. Our ‘want to’ changes.

We must understand that Jesus was God in the flesh (I John 5:20 And we know that the Son of God is come, and hath given us an understanding, that we may know him that is true, and we are in him that is true, even in his Son Jesus Christ. This is the true God, and eternal life.). Jesus is God, he is man(the Son of God), and he is eternal life. Also we must believe that Jesus died on the cross, was buried, and rose again the third day in an eternal resurrected body(I Cor. 15:2-3 For I delivered unto you first of all that which I also received, how that Christ died for our sins according to the scriptures; And that he was buried, and that he rose again the third day according to the scriptures).

We must put our trust or faith in the blood of Jesus who is God to have all of our sins forgiven. That is the past, present, and future sins, from the time we are born to the time we die, once for all (I John 1:7 But if we walk in the light, as he is in the light, we have fellowship one with another, and the blood of Jesus Christ his Son cleanseth us from all sin.). Once we are forgiven we are born again into God’s family (Eph. 1:13 In whom ye also trusted, after that ye heard the word of truth, the gospel of your salvation: in whom also after that ye believed, ye were sealed with that holy Spirit of promise,). Once you are in a family would that ever change? In the same way, once you are in God’s family it is forever and you get eternal life. Understand that though God wants you to be good, like doing good works, getting baptized, and going to church etc., being good can’t save you (Titus 3:5 Not by works of righteousness which we have done, but according to his mercy he saved us, by the washing of regeneration, and renewing of the Holy Ghost;). Only the blood alone, once for all can save you.

If you would like to have all your sins forgiven, this is what you must do. Pray to God in your heart to be saved. You can use your own words or the sample prayer below. Now praying this prayer won’t forgive you unless you understand it and mean it in your heart. Otherwise God can’t forgive you.

THE SALVATION PRAYER

Lord Jesus, I know I am a sinner, and I deserve the lake of fire, but I want to change, please forgive me, for all of my sins, by your blood, once for all, so I can go to heaven. Amen.
