The Goldman Sachs Scholarship for Excellence (SFE) is awarded to students who embody our Business Principles, which are fundamental to our long-term success and set the standard for everything we do. We invite black, Hispanic/Latino and Native American undergraduate juniors and sophomores pursuing Summer Analyst roles at Goldman Sachs to apply for this scholarship.

Upon starting their summer internship, SFE recipients will be awarded up to $15,000.*

Eligible students should be: ? Undergraduate juniors or sophomores ? Pursuing a 2016 summer internship ? Black, Hispanic/Latino or Native American

*This amount represents the gross amount of the award and may be subject to withholding. Junior SFE recipients will be awarded $15,000 and sophomore SFE recipients will receive $10,000 to help defray academic costs.

GOLDMAN SACHS SCHOLARSHIP FOR EXCELLENCE

APPLICATION CHECKLIST:

To be considered for the SFE, you must complete the following steps.

1. Please visit our events portal at careers/events and search under "Diversity" events to apply. We encourage you to complete 100% of your candidate profile to be considered for the Scholarship.

2. Review our 14 Business Principles and choose one that resonates most with you, professionally or academically. Please share how you have exemplified this principle through your experiences.

a. Applicants may choose to submit a 450-word essay, two-minute video or three-page slide presentation.

b. You may submit an essay or slide presentation as a PDF via the online application. Links to video submissions must be e-mailed to GoldmanSachsSFE@.

3. Complete your 2016 Summer Analyst application at careers. Candidates must complete their internship application in order to be considered for the SFE.

APPLICATION DEADLINE:

January 31 by 11:59 p.m. ET

Candidates are encouraged to submit their application for the SFE along with their internship application, as decisions may be made on an ongoing basis (subject to the status of the internship application).
