Important Information Regarding Coach and Spectator Carts at State Tournament

Please note that golf carts will be permitted for coaching purposes during competition by one school-board approved coach only of each team/individual. The two-day cart fee is $40.00 and will not be covered by the OHSAA. The school/coach is responsible for the cart fee if you choose to utilize this option. Checks should be made payable to: NorthStar Golf Club. The cart payment may be included in the same pre-pay range fee and greens fee check. If you have any questions, please contact Tim Heffelfinger at NorthStar: 740-524-4653. It is important for you to carefully review the golf cart rules that will be in place during competition.

NorthStar Golf Club Cart Rules for Coaches- Boys Division III

1. All OHSAA rules will be enforced.

2. All OHSAA Golf Coaching rules are in effect, including pace of play.

3. Carts must stay on cart paths at all times.

4. One person per cart- School-Board Approved Coach Only

5. Coach ribbon must be displayed at all times.

6. Do not transport competing golfers unless evacuating golf course due to inclement weather.

7. Do not transport spectators including assistant coaches.

8. No coolers permitted on carts

9. NorthStar cart fee must be paid in full before receiving golf cart key.

10. Please return cart to designated area at the conclusion of play.

11. Cart is not to be on driving range cart path to avoid congestion.

12. Cart is for competition rounds only- not practice round

13. Penalties- same as coaching rule violation and will also include loss of cart privileges.

14. If loss of cart privileges- no refund of cart fees.

15. If loss of cart privileges occurs on first round- it carries over to second round as this is a thirty-six hole

tournament.

Spectator Carts:

Please share with parents/family members that spectator carts will be available on a first come, first served basis for handicap individuals. They can be reserved beginning Monday, October 12 at noon by emailing Tim Heffelfinger (timpro@) Any emails sent prior to this will be discarded. Medical proof will need to be provided upon arrival and the cart fee will be $40.00.
