Good and Bad Choices in the PlaygroundStudents brainstorm all the different things they do with others in the playground. They create a class deck of cards with a picture on one side of each card and a one-sentence descriptor of each thing on the other side. For exampleStudents now use their class deck of cards to design and present short scenarios. Each learning team draws a card from the deck and creates their scenario/story using the picture and descriptor as a stimulus. Students discuss the scenarios presented by other teams and identify good and bad choices that are made in these situations. As a class, students construct a list of good choices that are made in the playground, as well as a list of bad choices. Students consider why things sometimes go bad in the playground and what happens as a result. ................
