Good morning boys and girls,
Hope you all had a nice weekend with your family. Today is Monday, April 13, 2020. It is a sunny and cool day. We will be having our Zoom meeting at 10:00am. Today’s lesson will be on insects. I will be reading a book called Insect Detectives. Have a super day.

2. Pick 2 new sight words and do rainbow writing in your poetry journals: See example:

2. On lined paper cut in half (labeled Monday with the date) you read the words to them and have your child tap out the words and write them using proper letter formation.

Choose 1 of the Activities:
Letter Formation Practice: Use the same lined paper you used for spelling the CVC words this week.
1. Practice printing these letters 2 times each. Print Letters: q, r, s, t
3. Find words around your house that begin with q, r, s, t and write the word on lined paper.
Math:
Please send a picture.
1. Count by 5’s to 100.
Objective: Draw and identify the sides and vertices of 2D shapes.

a. Pick 3 different shapes to draw. (please don’t do the same ones as you did on Thursday) (Try your best!)
