 Family Communication and Engagement PlanWelcome MessageWelcome MessageEnrollment, Withdrawal, and Updating Contact InformationEnrollments/Withdrawals are daily from 8am-2pm (unless a special request has been confirmed by appointment). There are 2 designated staff personnel facilitating the entire process.All enrollment/withdrawal documents are pre-prepared prior to parents entering into the building. Upon entering the building, parents are required to wear a face mask. We only allow 3 parents in at a time to complete the enrollment/withdrawal process. Each family is assigned to one of the 3 designated enrollment/withdrawal spaces. Parents are also allowed to complete the packets in their vehicle at their request. Parents are asked to complete an enrollment/withdrawal log, before completing the official enrollment/withdrawal packet.By appointment, Pre-K parents are following the same guidelines and procedures as school age parents.Contact information is updated via email, completing emergency forms, phone calls, and virtual communication upon request. Technology Updates Include information regarding:The technology team is working to ensure that all parents have updated technology. We have a binder and a document that shows what students have technology and website information. The technology team also has tech hours to assist families with any technology devices. We are hosting a Familypalooza similar to Googlepalooza where staff will work to ensure families are able to access Google Suites platforms. In addition, we have developed a tech team that families can call and email to assist with tech questions and help along with a FAQ on the website. requesting a device or Mifi,Requesting technology help, Google Classroom/tech training for familiesContacting the SchoolInclude office hours, helpline information, key emailsOffice Hours are from 9-3p.m for parents. The schools website is listed on the marquee and also in the foyer of the school. The technology team is working to update the website with a parent tab. I have met with the PAC and LSC chair to ensure that information is disseminated and that we constantly request updated contact information. The clerk has a Google Phone number that can also be used when contacting the school. All staff emails are listed on the school website under the directory. In addition, we have created a document that lists updated information and is shared with all staff members. The staff team is working to update information within Aspen.
