How to download EBSCO eBooks with the EBSCO eBooks app (for Apple or Android cell phones & tablets)

Before you download eBooks

You will need:

• An Adobe ID

• EBSCO eBooks (recommended app available free for both iOS and Android)

• A personal EBSCO account

• EBSCO Denver Seminary authentication login if downloading from off campus (login information can be found in your MyDenSem account. Click here for more details.)

Authorizing the App

1. If you don’t already have an Adobe ID, you need to create one - tap HERE and then tap Create an Adobe Account.

2. After downloading the free EBSCO eBooks app from iTunes or Google Play, open the app and authorize it with your Adobe ID.

3. Tap Find Books and use the library locator to find Denver Seminary Library in the app before searching for and downloading eBooks to your device.

Finding and Downloading an eBook

To download an eBook:

1. Tap Find Books to access the search screen.

2. Enter your search terms and tap the magnifying glass icon or select a category in the Browse area to run a search on the app

3. Tap the Download (Offline) link for the eBook you would like to download.

4. Log in to your personal My EBSCOhost folder or tap Create a new Account if you do not already have one.

5. tap the Checkout & Download button.

The eBook is added to the Checkout area of your My EBSCOhost folder and begins to download to your device.

6. Tap Read Now to begin reading or you can continue to search for more eBooks to download to your device.
