Jesus Saves Today

Jesus saves today; Jesus saves today, so when you feel you've reached the end, and you can't find a friend, Jesus saves today. Now some people think that Jesus was just a prophet, and His life ended on the cross there where He died, but I believe He was the true Son of our Father. Deep in my heart I feel Him living here inside. Jesus saves today, Jesus saves today, deny yourself, pick up your cross, if you know you are lost, ‘cause Jesus saves today. I believe He stood upon the Mount of Olive and warned us all to turn from all our sinful ways. And Simon and Peter saw Him walking upon the water, and I believe He’s walking with us still today. Oh, Jesus saves today; Jesus saves today, so when you feel you've reached the end, and you can't find a friend, Jesus saves today, Oh, Jesus saves today.

After All

Have you cried until you wondered where all the tears are coming from, and felt you’ve been forsaken and left to make it all alone? You’re just about to give up, but you heard the Savior call. He said “Look up, My child you’re gonna make it after all.” After all of the storm clouds have vanished away and the darkness of midnight has turned to a brand new day. Ah, you thought you’d never make it and you felt you’d surely fall. Oh, but it looks like you’re gonna make it after all. Now there once was a woman, she was destined to die. On her way home she found out one day that Jesus was passing by. She got down on her hands and knees, through the crowd she began to crawl. When she touched the hem of His garment she said “I’m gonna make it after all.” After all of the storm clouds have vanished away and the darkness of midnight has turned to a brand new day. Ah, you thought you’d never make it and you felt you’d surely fall. Oh, but it looks like you’re gonna make it after all. Yes, it looks like you’re gonna make it after all.

Perfect Love

Even the eyes of a blind man, Lord I know, would plainly see that even the legs of a lame man would walk those few steps to Calvary. Perfect love is what He gave. Perfect love when He forgave all my sins, Jesus, perfect Friend. He picked the perfect day to show the perfect way for us to know the Blood He shed on Calvary was perfect Blood. Even the ears of a deaf man will hear that old trumpet when it sounds. And even the tongue of a dumb man will praise His Holy Name and come unbound. Perfect love that’s what He gave. Perfect love when He forgave all my sins, Jesus, perfect Friend. He picked the perfect day to show the perfect way for us to know the Blood He shed on Calvary was perfect Blood. Yes, the Blood He shed on Calvary was perfect Blood.

Gonna Be Movin’

This old world’s no place for livin’. Not enough care and not enough givin’. Sometimes clouds of sin and sorrow hide the way. But this old life with stormy weather ain’t gonna be my home forever. Gonna be movin’ one of these days. Well, I’m gonna be movin’ (gonna be movin’) movin’ away (movin’ away). Gonna be movin’ (gonna be movin’) one of these days (one of these days). When I leave this life behind me troubles and cares are never gonna find me. Gonna be movin’ one of these days. There won’t be any time for cryin’, no more sickness, toil, or dyin’; joy awaits me in that mansion far away. When I rest from all my labor the Lord’s gonna be my next door neighbor. I’m gonna be movin’ one of these days. I’m gonna be movin’ one of these days.

Ain’t That Just Like Jesus

Pretty gardens have flowers, pretty seashores have tiny grains of sand, and a man down on his knees, saying, “Help me Jesus, please.” has a special chance to touch the Master’s Hand. Ain’t that just like Jesus, to put it all in place? Ain’t that just like Jesus, to make this earth from empty space? And die and leave a plan for a lost and lonely man. Ain’t that just like Jesus, ain’t that just like Jesus? Pretty sunsets have peaceful endings, a pretty sunrise brings the start of a brand new day, and a man whose lost and blind, his way he cannot find has another chance to kneel and find his way. Ain’t that just like Jesus, to put it all in place? Ain’t that just like Jesus, to make this earth from empty space? And die and leave a plan for a lost and lonely man. Ain’t that just like Jesus, ain’t that just like Jesus? And die and leave a plan for a lost and lonely man. Ain’t that just like Jesus, ain’t that just like Jesus?

Just To Feel Your Presence

Though Satan tries to stop us, Lord, I remember what You said. I could be more than a conqueror by the precious Blood You shed. Seems it’s been a million years now, since You went away, but I know it can’t be long now, so Lord, I’ll just wait. Just to feel Your presence means everything to me. There’s no better feeling than when I’m shouting victory. So I’ll carry on my journey until Your Face I see. Lord, let me feel Your Spirit until You come for me. You’ve been with me through the valleys, and on mountaintops we’ve stood. Though it seemed my world was falling, You held my hand and picked me up. And someday when it’s over, and up in Heaven we will stand. Lord, don’t take Your love from me, it’s the greatest thing I’ve found. Just to feel Your presence means everything to me. There’s no better feeling than when I’m shouting victory. So I’ll carry on my journey until Your Face I see. Lord, let me feel Your Spirit until You come for me. Lord, don’t take Your love from me, it’s the greatest thing I’ve found.

Prayer Changes Things

I know what sadness is; I’ve had my share. I know what gladness is cause I’ve been there. I know the peace and joy my God can bring. Down on my knees I’ve learned what really changes things. The only way to God is earnest prayer. Just breath that Holy Name and He’ll be there. He knows the grief we bear and knows our every need in prayer. Just take it to the Lord, prayer changes things. I know just how it feels to really believe I’m alone when sorrow has no end and all hope seems gone. I turned my eyes to Him, and new strength I gained, and it’s then again I learned what really changes things. The only way to God is earnest prayer. Just breath that Holy Name and He’ll be there. He knows the grief we bear and knows our every need in prayer. Just take it to the Lord, prayer changes things. Just take it to the Lord, prayer changes things.

Heaven Will Never Welcome A Sweeter Mama

Heaven will never welcome a sweeter mama, and Earth will never lose a greater soul. Today I went again to that old home place down the lane where I played when just a lad. And all those good times they possessed my memories. What an empty feeling, there was no one to welcome me. I walked up the steps they were worn and weathered. The porch was green with moss and falling down. Oh, but then I saw it, that wreath on my mama’s door. Oh, if I could have been there just one day before. Heaven will never welcome a sweeter mama; Earth will never lose a greater soul. Her favorite spot was sitting by the window, rocking in an old rocking chair. With her apron and her dress of calico listening to the raindrops, watching the falling snow. If only I had spent more time with mama sitting ‘round that old cabin door, but she’s gone now and there’s nothing I can do but ask God for a mansion Mama, in Heaven next door to you. Heaven will never welcome a sweeter mama; no, Earth will never lose a greater soul.

Won’t Somebody Call My Name Tonight

Well, it was in a little church house on a country road one night; I ventured by and peeped inside, thought I heard somebody pray. My heart was heavy laden and tears flowed from my eyes. I said, “I wish someone who’d prayed would call my name tonight.” Won’t somebody call my name in prayer tonight? I can’t pray, I’m too weak, and the Lord knows I’m not right. Oh, I’d like to go to Heaven, but I’m ashamed of my life. Won’t somebody call my name tonight? Once my life was torn and shattered. I could not find my way. My only hope was just to die. For myself I could not pray. I was lost in the world dying, never knew who saved my life, but in my desperate moment somebody called my name that night. Won’t somebody call my name in prayer tonight? I can’t pray, I’m too weak, and the Lord knows I’m not right. Oh, I’d like to go to Heaven, but I’m ashamed of my life. Won’t somebody call my name tonight? I’m so glad somebody called my name that night.

Song Lyrics – Master, Look My Way

Master, Look My Way

I’m like the blind man that sat beside the road and cried, “Thou Son of David, please give me my sight.” And like that woman that touched your garment that day, oh Master, will You look my way? Master, will You look my way? Will You lend Your Ear to what I have to say? Look past my faults, see my needs, please forgive my unbelief. Place Your Hand in my hand lest I stray. Master, will You look my way? I know I’m unworthy of You, and I don’t deserve anything You’ll do. But if You’ll only hear me when I pray, oh Master, will You look my way? Master, will You look my way? Will You lend Your Ear to what I have to say? Look past my faults, see my needs, please forgive my unbelief. Place Your Hand in my hand lest I stray. Master, will You look my way? Look past my faults, see my needs, please forgive my unbelief. Place Your Hand in my hand lest I stray. Master, will You look my way?

He Is My Everything

I remember my days of darkness, without sunshine or sight to lead my way. And then a whisper from His Voice softly calls me to the Arms of my Maker to stay. He is my reason for living. Oh, He is the King of all kings. I long to be his possession, He is my everything. After the lightning and thunder, after the last bell has rung. I want to bow down before Jesus and hear Him say, “Well done.” He is my reason for living. Oh, He is the King of all kings. I long to be his possession, He is my everything. I long to be his possession, He is my everything.

Ride Out Your Storm

You’ve been in this storm, it seems like forever. And your night of confusion has been oh so long. Your ship has lost anchor and the storms got you drifting. But the night’s almost over, so ride out your storm. Ride out your storm. God’s right there with you. You may not feel Him, oh but you’re not alone. You’re hurting now, but your morning is coming. Just hold on to Jesus, and ride out your storm. Remember His promise. He said, “I’ll never forsake you.” Though the waters are raging, they’ll do you no harm. Don’t give up the battle for your answer is coming. Just hold on to Jesus, and ride out your storm. Ride out your storm. God’s right there with you. You may not feel Him, oh but you’re not alone. You’re hurting now, but your morning is coming. Just hold on to Jesus, and ride out your storm. Ride out your storm.

Tears Will Never Stain (The Streets Of That City)

If I could count all the tears that have fallen, it would seem like an ocean to me. And if my heart had a window you could look through, oh the pain scars you would see. But tears will never stain the streets of that city. No wreaths of death on my mansions door. Teardrops aren’t welcome beyond the gates of Glory, ‘cause my heart will never break anymore. We all have questioned the loss of a loved one ‘cause the grave seems so final and cold. Lord, we’ll meet again where death has no victory, in God’s land where we’ll never grow old. And tears will never stain the streets of God’s city. No wreaths of death on my mansions door. Teardrops aren’t welcome beyond the gates of Glory, ‘cause my heart will never break anymore. No, my heart will never break anymore.

Now I Have Everything

I’ve had nothing but heartaches and troubles. I was seeking for fortune and fame. I had nothing but doubt and confusion. But now I have everything. Everything I need to make me happy. I have Jesus to show me the way. He has saved me and gave me life eternal, and now I have everything. I was making big plans for my future. I was living my lifetime in vain. Then I prayed for life’s only meaning, and now I have everything. Everything I need to make me happy. I have Jesus to show me the way. He has saved me and gave me life eternal, and now I have everything. He has saved me and gave me life eternal, and now I have everything.

Don’t let Me Go

If I become disillusioned as I travel this narrow way, my mind filled with confusion. Lord, I might even stray. If I’m like that lost sheep wandering and stray too far from the fold, Lord, to keep me with You, do what You must do, just don’t let me go. Don’t turn me loose in world so cruel and heartless. I need Your Hand to hold on to. Guide me through this land of darkness. I’ve seen the awful things that sin can do to a wayward soul. Lord, to keep me with You, do what You must do, please don’t let me go. I know Your love has kept me each time I lost sight of Calvary. You were always there to help me each time you heard my feeble plea. From my heart I’d like to tell You, but I think You already know. Lord, to keep me with You, do what You must do, please don’t let me go. Don’t turn me loose in world so cruel and heartless. I need Your Hand to hold on to. Guide me through this land of darkness. I’ve seen the awful things that sin can do to a wayward soul. Lord, to keep me with You, do what You must do, just don’t let me go. So to keep me with You, do what You must do, just don’t let me go.

Lost In the Presence

If I told you I see something that nobody else could see, if I told you that the angels had been talking to me, would you merely think me foolish, that my senses I had lost? I’m just lost in the presence of the sweet Holy Ghost. I’m just lost in the presence of the sweet Holy Ghost and He’s drawing, drawing me closer to the One I love the most. And I’m keeping company with a Heavenly Host. I’m just lost in the presence of the sweet Holy Ghost. If you think I’m out of order ‘cause I can’t stay in my seat. If you think it’s blaspheme ‘cause there’s dancing in my feet, I can hardly hear you talking, ‘cause I’m not listening very well, ‘cause I’m plugged into His power and I’m about to have a spell. I’m just lost in the presence of the sweet Holy Ghost and He’s drawing, drawing me closer to the One I love the most. And I’m keeping company with a Heavenly Host. I’m just lost in the presence of the sweet Holy Ghost. I’m just lost in the presence of the sweet Holy Ghost and He’s drawing, drawing me closer to the One I love the most. And I’m keeping company with a Heavenly Host. I’m just lost in the presence of the sweet Holy Ghost. I’m just lost in the presence of the sweet Holy Ghost.

Why Would A King

I watched as Jesus was crucified. A river of blood flowed from His side. I heard the ringing of the hammer as they drove the nails in His hands. And I wondered why. Why would a King want to die like this? Why would a King Want to lay down His life for a sinner such as I? Why would a King want to die for all the lost? And I’m reminded love held Him to the cross. He was a man, just like you and me. He suffered all the pain and agony. As they left Him on the cross that day He cried, “It’s finished.” As they walked away so tell me why. Why would a King want to die like this? Why would a King Want to lay down His life for a sinner such as I? Why would a King want to die for all the lost? And I’m reminded love held Him to the cross. Yes, I’m reminded love held Him to the cross.

Glimpse Of Heaven

Holding to the hand of Mama, crying, “Lord, don’t let her go. We just got to have her. Oh, Lord, we need her so.” With a voice so weak, she could hardly speak, we heard her say, “Let me go. Let me go children. I don’t want to stay.” She just caught a glimpse of Heaven and her new home, where cripples never enter and blind men never roam. Well she heard the angels singing; saw them in their long white robes. Little children’s voices blended there in a land where we won’t grow old. She’ll be standing by the river when we’ve walked our last mile. With arms outstretched I can see her there. That same old familiar smile, saying, “Come on over children. We won’t suffer anymore. There’s nothing but peace and contentment over on these golden shores.” Our family needs a glimpse of Heaven and our new home, where cripples never enter and blind men never roam. Let us see our angel singing; see her in her long white robe. Hear her children’s voices blending there in that land where we won’t grow old.
