sum up the educational perspective of Governor Raul Daza. A lifetime member of the Philippine Institute of Certified Public Accountants, he is also a member of the state bar of California, USA.

Daza was deputy minister of the defunct PCGG, representative of the lone district of Northern Samar in the 8th Philippine Congress, Speaker Pro Tempore of the 9th Congress, and Sr. Deputy Speaker of the 10th Congress.

Daza is an advocate of policy reform and local fiscal autonomy, and an active member of the League of Provinces where he serves as chairperson for Region VIII. Daza is a former president of the Liberal Party and currently the chairperson of the Local Chief Executives of the Party.

GOVERNOR RAUL A. DAZA (NORTHERN SAMAR).

He has served Northern Samar as its representative from 1969 to 1973 and from 1987 to 1998 for three consecutive terms and to which he has served as Speaker Pro-Tempore and Deputy Speaker. He was appointed by Pres. Aquino as Deputy Minister of the Presidential commission on Good Government in recognition of his role as freedom fighter during the dark days of martial rule. In 1999, he was appointed Commissioner of the Presidential Commission on Constitutional Reform. He has served the Liberal Party as President and is currently the Chairperson of the Caucus of Liberal Local Chief Executives.
