| |present it in a multimedia format to the class. Examples of multimedia include, but are not limited | |

*Products 5 OR 6 should show planning, drafting, conferencing, revising, editing and closure/publishing for piece of writing.
**The Mid-year check will observe the writing within a student’s working portfolio (i.e.: writing notebook).
****The End-of-year check will observe student selected work placed within the official writing portfolio folder & will be completed before EOG testing, with data from both content area and on demand tasks entered into DPI.
◊DPI will provide On-Demand Prompts (either a personal or imaginative narrative) one in the fall and one in the spring these are to be scored using DPI Rubrics. Scores are to be entered into the DPI Accountability Spreadsheet. Teachers should provide the genre not provided by DPI.
*A Total of four products per student (two on-demand prompts, the research paper and content task) will be scored using the DPI Rubrics, two products in the fall and two products in the spring. Data should be entered into DPI Accountability Spreadsheet as soon as tasks are completed.
*Fourth grade exemplars for personal/imaginative narrative and letter writing are found in Narrative Writing training materials.
