7th Grade Math/Algebra Project

7th Grade Math/Algebra Project

Requirement:

You will be expected to create a game that contains algebraic/math information. You will determine the name of the game, the amount of players (at least two…no more than four), the object of the game, its contents, how to set it up, the rules to playing in detailed format and an example if necessary. If your game requires several different pieces you will also be expected to explain in your instructions what each piece represents. You will not be allowed to copy information from another game. Your game must be your own and it needs to be unique (one of a kind). You may use other games as a resource but you may not copy exactly off of it. (remember I have played several games in my lifetime)

Due:

Your game will be due on May 12th. You will be allowed FIVE days in class to work on your masterpiece, however you will most likely need to allow additional time outside of class to work on your game.

Grade:

Your project will be graded according to the provided rubric. It is worth 200 points.

Important Information:

This is a very important project for your 9 weeks grade. Do not wait until the last minute to complete this project. If you have any questions be sure to ask. Work as a TEAM and have fun!
