INTRODUCTION AND USER GUIDELINES

This Teacher Resource Pack supports effective pacing of curriculum delivery. The sequencing and time

allocation have been adapted to support post-Covid curriculum recovery. This Pace Setter should be used in

conjunction with the WCED lessons to prepare for daily teaching in Mathematics. The use of the SASOL/DBE

Teacher

Guide,

available

at

(copy,paste into

browser) is recommended here. The more challenging concepts are supported with QR codes and links,

where possible methodology can be viewed in preparation for teaching. These QR codes/videos may not be

used as replacement for teaching.

The annexure with the Mental Maths exercises should be integrated in teaching.

The Problem Solving examples offers opportunity to practice non routine problem solving examples.
