I was involved in school and community music groups growing up. After graduating high school I attended Dixie State College and Utah State University. While at USU I met and married my wife. In 2010 I graduated USU with a Bachelors Degree in Elementary Education. Shortly after moving to Salt Lake, I began teaching third grade at Calvin Smith Elementary. In August of 2010, our first son, Hayden, was born. In the spring of 2011, I began working toward an endorsement in Gifted and Talented education. In January of 2012, I returned to school to complete a Master’s Degree. In 2013 our second son, Preston (known as “Baby Mustard”), was born. In May 2013 I graduated from USU with a Masters of Education in Elementary Education degree. Last September we bought our first home and spent three month remodeling. When I have free time I enjoy fishing, camping, hiking, and running. I look forward to another great year at Cottonwood, and to getting to know everyone better. 00All about Mr. Everett:I grew up in St. George, the fifth of eight children.
