Project Goal:

Students will research a famous person of their choice and create a trading card highlighting that person’s accomplishments.

Assignment:

1. Choose a book from our selected biographies and begin learning about the person you’ve chosen.

2. Cross-check your facts in an encyclopedia. You be using two sources – a biography book and an encyclopedia.

3. Take notes on your topic using the form we give you.

4. Use citation forms to create the correct citations for both of your sources.

5. Create a trading card with an image and several facts about your famous person. We will have a format on the computer for you to use.

6. We will share what we learned with our classmates once the trading cards are finished!
