Course information The Graduate Certificate in Taxation is the first stage of Curtin's modular taxation course, which includes graduate certificate, diploma, and masters levels. You can exit after completion of four units to receive a graduate certificate, after eight units to receive a graduate diploma or after 12 units for a Master of Taxation. On successful completion of this course, you may be eligible to enrol in the Graduate Diploma in Taxation.

This course can help you advance your career in taxation. It is a specialised foundation level course that is aimed primarily at graduates who are seeking qualifications in taxation or continuing professional development. It can also benefit corporate accountants, financial planners and advisors who require specialist taxation qualifications, and members of the legal profession who are seeking a specialist taxation qualification.

In this course you will study the Income Tax Assessment Acts and associated acts and regulations. You will learn how these acts and regulations apply to income tax returns. You can also choose from a wide range of specialist taxation topics to support your current and future career needs.
