The goal of this web quest is to introduce you to safe web sites that feature information about the Greek god you have chosen for your project. You will search for info on your chosen god and learn about Ancient Greek culture in the process. You may use any of these sites as you do research for your power point presentations.

Directions: Read each question carefully. Go to the website listed to find the answer, then type the answer in the space provided. Ask for assistance when you are ready to print.

1. At the website find your Greek god and summarize one fact you will use on your power point.

2. At the website click on The Olympians, click on your god. Describe a power they possess and how they use it.

3. At the website find a picture that you would like to use in your power point and show it’s listing below.

4. At the website click on your god on the family tree. Read the paragraph(s) and list 2-4 facts below that your need for your presentation.

5. At the website find and list the Roman name for your god and what they were the god of. List one hero or creature you find interesting and tell why.

6. At the website find the search box on the left hand side and type in the name of your god. List below 3 facts that you will use in your presentation.

7. At the website click on the name of your god in the left panel. Look at the picture of a piece of pottery depicting your god. Describe the picture and why the artist put certain objects in the picture.

8. At the website read about the gods and the myths. When you are finished list below one thing you learned or enjoyed at this site.

9. At the website

find out which planet is associated with your Greek god. Type out some facts you want to remember for your presentation.

10. Check out the pictures at this site to see if they will work in your presentation.

Now that you have finished this web quest, save your work on your space on the server and then ask for assistance to print. ( You may now begin working on your power point presentation using these safe sites.
