New Family Medicine Office to Open at Rocky Fork Lake

October 12, 2018 Highland District Hospital in partnership with Highland Health Providers is pleased to announce plans to open Rocky Fork Medical Center in the spring of 2019. Ground has officially been broken on the new 2,720 square foot building that will offer a full-time, family medicine office practice. Nurse Practitioners, Pam Knisley and Marsha Mitchell, along with a full staff will be open six days a week to accommodate new patients of all ages, and existing patients. Pam Knisley, APRN-CNP, has been practicing at Highland Family Healthcare in Hillsboro for six years, and will

continue seeing existing and new patients there until the new office opens. Marsha Mitchell, APRN-CNP, has been practicing in Southern Ohio for nine years, and currently teaches nursing. The office will also have future radiology and lab draw capabilities for patient convenience. Highland Health Providers (HHP) is a Federally Qualified Health Center Look-A-Like, which focuses care on the medically underserved. The new Lake location makes it more convenient for families southeast of Hillsboro to have access to medical care. HHP currently has additional locations throughout Highland county including Lynchburg, Greenfield, and Hillsboro. Visit their website for more information .
