Channel [V] introduces the next generation of female emcees in the new docu-reality series, Sisterhood of Hip Hop, produced by 51 Minds with Christian Sarabia, recording artist T.I., Rabih Gholam and Roy Orecchio serving as Executive Producers. This empowering TV show celebrates aspiring women in the music industry, showcasing five female hip hop artists ? Bia, Brianna Perry, Diamond, Nyemiah Supreme and Siya ? trying to make their dreams come true in a music genre traditionally dominated by men. Discovered and mentored by some of the biggest names in hip hop, each of the cast bring a unique voice and style to the table. The eight episode series also includes guest appearances by hip hop icons, mentors and friends such as Pharrell Williams, Eve, Lil Jon, Travie McCoy, T-Pain, Rick Ross, Tank and Timberland, among others. Bianca Treal, best known as Bia, sacrificed everything to make her dreams a reality and better learn her craft from Famlay and Pharrell. Ever since she was in a life-threatening motorcycle accident, Bia has taken life by the horns and refused to let go. Although she has already gained the respect of Pharrell and was signed to his label, i Am Other, she knows that all eyes are on her and she has to deliver. Brianna Perry has been active in the music industry since age five and is ready to show the world what a lifetime of hip hop education can do for your career. Brianna's skills have been recognized by top artists such as Beyonc?, Trina and Missy Elliot and she's been praised in the media for her unorthodox style. Brittany Nicole Carpentero, better known by her stage name Diamond, got her first taste of success at age 14 as onesixth of the rap group, Crime Mob. Since leaving the group in 2007, she has worked with hip hop luminaries such as Ludacris, Trina, Eve, Waka Flocka Flame and Gucci Mane. She was also nominated for "Best Female Hip Hop Artist" at the 2011 and 2012 BET Awards and was signed to Polo Grounds Music in 2014. Nyemiah Streeter - best known as Nyemiah Supreme - began her career as a back-up dancer for artists such as Chris Brown and Lil Mama. She got her break when she was asked to step up to the mic on Jim Jones' single "Everybody

Jones." In 2012, Timbaland took her under his wing and her debut single in 2013 ("Rock `n' Roll") featured her mentor and was produced by him. Michele Sherman, better known by her stage name Siya, is an openly gay rapper, who who overcame many challenges early on. Music became an outlet for her, and after moving from Brooklyn to Atlanta to pursue her dream, she eventually built up a rep for herself and caught the attention of many major labels and well-known artists, in addition to becoming one of Complex magazine's "Rappers to Watch." Sisterhood of Hip Hop gives viewers a behind-the-scenes look at the music business and what happens when women want to change the game and root for each other instead of against each other. Despite the sacrifices they often make in their personal lives, these "femcees" are determined to succeed and overcome the barriers and challenges that come with a rise to stardom, but not at the cost of the sisterhood they have built.
