Sportsman’s Club of Battle CreekFirearm Range RulesAll members should have membership cards present.When using any of the ranges, you must sign-in the log book provided, how many rounds and what caliber you used.No alcoholic beverages before or during shooting. No carelessness or horsing around on range.All firearms to be pointed down range.No handling of firearms with people down range. All firearms should be unloaded with the action open and safety on.Eye and ear protection should be used at all times.Load your gun ONLY when on firing line.Paper swing or silhouette targets-minimum of 12” below cable only. No automatic weapons. No use of ANY TYPE of shot on rifle range. No shooting at anything set on backstops. No shooting at turnbuckles or cables. Range to be kept clean at all times. Pick up your garbage. Trash to be deposited in trash barrels only; brass in brass buckets only. All powder should be kept covered when not in use. No shooting after dusk. No armor piercing ammo.
