President’s Report: Meeting called to order and opened with a prayer by Terry Hanley, PC President. ? Review of previous month’s fundraisers and events:Fun Run: great event, went well. T-shirts worn to school the day before: good advertising.Candy Sale: very successful year. Prizes were distributed. Top selling class: Mrs. Mullane 2-18, Will have McDonald’s lunch on 10/26. Most returns 1st day of sale: Mrs. Miller: 2-19, will have bagel lunch on 10/26.Oktoberfest at Prost 10/15. Well attended. Good time for all. Waiting on final profit from chairs.? Many events/fundraisers this year were not placed on paper calendar in an effort to “minimize” calendar and to prevent multiple changes causing confusion. ? Looking to move PC to a more “digital” platform: email Tuesday mailings and start to phase out paper packet.? Volunteer Forms need to be completed and returned. Only 48out of 251 family participation rate thus far. Current participating members need to be “ambassadors” and get the word out! May send form out one last time.Treasurer’s Report: (Alice Browne)? Reviewed report 8/1/16-9/30/16.? Candy Sale: still waiting on 10 payments before profit can be finalized, should be almost $14,000? Craft Fair: shows table sales. 15 sold so far at $60 each ? Catholic Schools Week, Fashion Show, Father/Daughter, Mother/Son dances, all reflect deposits made to book event. ? Fun Run profit will go down, $220 still to be donated to the Special Olympics.? Reviewed misc expenses for the school, still waiting on $1000 anonymous donation to supplement the 6th grade chrome books.? We supplemented nurses budget this year due to many supplies becoming outdated and needed. Should be able to cover most of supplies with budget allotted by district going forward.? Smart Board expenses were for Pre-K, K and Spanish/Art rooms. All teaching classrooms are now equipped with Smart Boards.? PC Dues currently at 61% participation. Reminders to individual families sent today.? Pizza Day numbers cannot be looked at as profit. Number goes down through year, reflects selling of advance pizza coupons.? YTD Fundraising total: $17,478.60Upcoming & Current Events/Fundraising:? KidStuff Coupon Book Fundraiser:? Going on right nowIf you know you do not want your book, please return ASAP.Books can be ordered for other regions of the country.? School receives 50% profit from book sale ? Purchase cost easily “made back” with use of only a few coupons.? Craft Fair - 11/19/16 – All dayVendors continue to be solicited for tables (price per table lowered to be competitive) $60 per tableBasket themes for raffles will be given to class parents next weekPC will again run Country Kitchen (sale of baked goods) and regular kitchen with sale of lunch items. Enjoyed a tour of the school and made a donation to STA.
