It is also suggested before you enroll in a 4-H project area that you consider how much time you will have to learn about that area of interest. 4-H Project VS Exhibit933450600075The 4-H Project is a topic that members select at the time of enrollment to learn more about. A 4-H Exhibit is a sample of the learning in a 4-H Project. This exhibit can be brought to the county fair or other showcase of learning. Some examples of a 4-H Exhibit include: a plate of cookies, desk, rocket, chicken, beef steer, poster or 3 sided display board. At the County Fair, you will spend some time with a caring adult who serves as a 4-H judge. They will ask you questions about your learning and award you a placing on how well you shared your learning. It is recommended to find someone and practice before the county fair. This will help the member prepare for the conversation. If selected, members have the opportunity to bring their 4-H Exhibit to the Minnesota State Fair.4-H Project time frameSome 4-H projects might take more time than others to create a quality exhibit that can be taken and exhibited at your local county fair. You will have to make time to learn and explore this area of interest, create some goals and begin to work on an exhibit. A sample time frame has been developed to help you think about the time investment in a 4-H Project area.Created by: Brian McNeill, Mary Ann Anderson, Amy Nelson, Stephanie Grimes. 2019 ................
