Holiday Work Weeks

**Students will be charged a $100

processing fee if they do not have

their pre-registration finalized by

December 2nd (online payments accepted until Dec. 4). If students need

help with this or any other type of

payment, they can contact the

Financial Aid Office and inquire

about short-term loans at

417-690-3290.**

Students participating in the Work Program are required

to work two separate 40 hours work weeks when class is

not in session. Two of the eight work weeks fall on holidays, such as Thanksgiving and Christmas. If your student

has been assigned to work a holiday work week, he or she

may be required to work the entire week, depending on

the needs of the work station. At College of the Ozarks, we

understand these holidays are important to you and your

student, which is why a special dinner is hosted by the

Pearl Dining Center for the holidays. Your student will be

able to have the full holiday meal experience like

Operation Christmas Child

The world¡¯s largest Christmas project,

¡°Operation Christmas Child¡±, packs over

eight million gift-filled shoeboxes for children

suffering from poverty, disease, war, and

natural disaster in more than 100 countries.

The shoeboxes are wrapped and filled with

toothpaste, toys, and school supplies.

14th - Kick-off party 6pm to 9pm in the

chapel basement.

Samaritan's Purse will be filming our

kick-off party to show on their website!!!

14th-21st ¨C Shoebox collection drop off

8am to 8pm (Sundays - Noon to 4 PM) in

the chapel parking lot

Samaritan¡¯s Purse will be collecting gift-filled shoeboxes at more than 2,700

drop-off sites in all 50 states during National Collection Week. The C of O

Christian Ministries Office is the designated Relay Center in this area.
