CATTLE MARKET REPORT BENDIGO

December 16, 2019

Cattle numbers decreased quite significantly this week with just 150 coming forward. All the usual buyers were again present; however, the market was cheaper than previous weeks.

Steers made a top of $2.90 cents per kilo, holding firm to 5 cents cheaper.

A small run of quality milk Vealers made a top of $3.05 cents per kilo, holding very steady from last week.

Cow prices also fell this week with the top making $2.10 cents per kilo, dropping by 10 cents.

The Associated Stock and Station Agents would like to wish all their clients and buyers a very Merry Christmas and a safe and happy New Year.

Our first Market will be held on Monday the 6th of January.

Due to Lifetime Traceability scanning, Cattle are to be delivered to the Sale Yards by 9pm SUNDAY NIGHT. All cattle must carry a NLIS ear tag before being transported.
