Difficult conversations prep sheet

You will get more from our training on ‘Successful Difficult Conversations’ if you use real examples of difficult conversations during the role play as it will help you prepare for having the real conversation.

Please make sure you:

- are comfortable talking about this scenario in front of the other attendees.

- use a situation which is new and not one you have already resolved; it might be a situation you have had some previous conversations about already, but the issue remains.

If you would like to do this, please:

1) Complete the following sheet and send these to your trainer a week before your training.

2) Bring a copy with you on the day.

These notes are for us to understand the person you are dealing with better, so we can present you with as close to real examples as possible for you to practise with.
