ARISE AND REACH OUT FOR HEAVEN’S SOLUTION

ARISE AND REACH OUT FOR HEAVEN’S SOLUTION

Exodus 3:7-10; John 5:1-14

God’s dealing with Israel and Christ’s dealing with the individual in the above texts show us principles on how to reach out for heaven’s solution. If it worked for Israel as a nation, it will work for any family, group, community, church or nation. If Christ reached out to this individual, He will reach out to you.

There is no reason for needless suffering when heaven has the solutions to our problems. We only need to know how to tap into these solutions. This is far easier than we normally think.

DIVINE AWARENESS OF OUR SORROWS

Exodus 3:7; John 3:6; Deuteronomy 26:6-9; Judges 3:9-11,14,15; 4:1-24; 6:7-16; 11:4-33; 13:5; 1 Samuel 7:1-14; 9:16.

“And the Lord said, I have surely seen the affliction of my people which are in Egypt, and have heard their cry by reason of their taskmasters; for I know their sorrows” (Exodus 3:7).

That God is aware of our problems, predicaments, sorrows is clearly evident from the above passage. He knows our situation, He sees the affliction and oppression we are going through, He hears our cries and sighs and He knows our sorrows.

This should encourage us. We are not alone in our problems. We have a Father with a listening ear and a compassionate heart. He will respond to help us. In the case of the lame man by the pool of Bethesda, even without being told, Christ “knew that he had been now a long time in that case” (John 3:6).

In every generation, God is always aware of the sorrows of His people. When they cry unto Him, He always raises a deliverer for them and get them out of their bondage (Deuteronomy 26:6-9; Judges 3:9-11,14,15; 4:1-24; 6:7-16; 11:4-33; 13:5; 1 Samuel 7:1-14; 9:16).

DIVINE ATTENTION FROM THE SAVIOUR

Exodus 3:7-10; John 5:1-14; Joshua 5:13-15; Daniel 3:21-26; Psalm 50:15; 105:13-15; Zechariah 2:5,8.

God is not just aware of our problems and sorrows, He pays personal attention to us in order to bring us out of the predicament.

God said He has personally come to deliver His people. He took it upon Himself to search for a suitable instrument like Moses who could spearhead the deliverance project (Exodus 3:7-10). Christ came personally to minister healing to the man by the pool of Bethesda (John 5:1-14).

When Israel was going to fight against Jericho, God came down personally as the Captain of the Host to help them (Joshua 5:13-15). When the three Hebrew children were thrown into Nebuchadnezzar’s fiery furnace, the Son of God came down personally to deliver them (Daniel 3:21-26).

DISHEARTENING ANSWER OF THE SUFFERING

Isaiah 41:14; 40:27; Job 17:14; 25:6; Psalm 22:6-8; Judges 6:13; Habakkuk 1:2-5; 1 Samuel 3:18; Jeremiah 44:15-17.

When the man at the pool of Bethesda was asked “Wilt thou be made whole?” (John 5:6). Rather than respond with a straight yes, he started moaning and complaining about not having any helper. Yet the greatest Helper was by his side. His answer was pathetic and disheartening.

Many times when the Lord has planned great things for His people, they are not even aware of it (Isaiah 43:18-21).

We sometimes see ourselves as helpless worms (Isaiah 41:14; Job 17:14; 25:6; Psalm 22:6-8) rather than like a great advancing host (Jeremiah 20:11).

Often times we think that God has forgotten us (Isaiah 40:27) and forsaken us (Judges 6:13) and we get frustrated because we think that God is not doing anything concerning our case (Habakkuk 1:2-5).

DIVINE ABILITY TO SUCCOUR

Jeremiah 31:11; 50:33,34; Psalm 60:11,12; 108:12,13; Isaiah 59:1; Deuteronomy 26:8; Luke 1:71,74; Romans 16:20.

God is not limited in any way. He has the ability to help us and He has committed Himself to helping His people (2 Chronicles 7:12-15). He has the ability to deliver us from the hand of the enemy that might at times be stronger than us (Jeremiah 31:11; 50:33,34; Psalm 60:11,12; 108:12,13; Luke 1:71,74).

God’s hand is not shortened that He cannot save us (Isaiah 59:1). He can deliver with His mighty outstretched arm (Deuteronomy 26:8). He will bruise Satan under your feet shortly (Romans 16:20).

DIVINE ASSISTANCE AND SOLUTION

Exodus 3:7-10; 12:51; Judges 3:30; 4:23,24; 8:23; 11:33; John 5:6-14; Psalm 121:1,2; Hebrews 4:16; 13:5,6.

The man at the pool of Bethesda was assisted. He was healed and made whole (John 5:6-14). Israel under Moses and the judges were assisted and delivered (Exodus 3:7-10; 12:51; Judges 3:30; 4:23,24; 8:23; 11:33).

You too can look up to the hills from whence your help will come (Psalm 121:1,2). You can reach out for heaven’s solution. You can come to the throne of grace to receive grace to help in time of need (Hebrews 4:16). God is no respecter of persons. What He has done for others, He will do for you.
