THESE NEXT STEPS ARE EXTREMELY IMPORTANT

You can access this blue box by clicking on the "colleges I'm applying to" if you are not automatically directed to this site.

You must tell Naviance how to communicate to your colleges; through the Common Application or through EDocs? If you chose to use the Common Application for one or more, you must complete Step 1, Step 2, and add the email you used for the Common Application account. Click the Match button.

If you chose NOT to use the Common Application, and you WILL NOT, use it, please click the red not needed link.

Common Application Note: Common App requires that all pieces of the application be sent together ? transcript, teacher recommendation, and the Secondary School Report (counselor form that includes the counselor letter of recommendation). Therefore, your transcript will be sent only when your teacher(s) and counselor have completed their forms, required uploads, etc. To determine what each school needs and to send your transcript and all information, you MUST SCHEDULE AN APPOINTMENT WITH YOUR COUNSELOR AT LEAST TWO WEEKS PRIOR TO THE DEADLINE.

1. You can add colleges that you have already applied to here, request transcripts for colleges you have applied to, but have not requested a transcript (see U of Denver)

2. Update any unknowns in this column. If the school is a Common Application school, Naviance must know if you used the Common Application to apply. Select yes or no. Doing so will repair #3.

3. Anytime there is a present you need to either use the

to edit your applications and indicate if you used the

Common Application or not. You can also update fix this by following the rule in #2.

4. If there are duplicates of the same school, we will not be able to send your transcript to that school. Especially if one shows

that you applied via the common app and the other is unknown. You may need to ask your counselor to remove one.

5. If you request a transcript to a school that you have NOT applied to yet, and we are able to send it, where do you think it

goes? Please do not request a transcript be sent to schools you have not applied to yet.

FINAL STEPS:

1. When you hear back from your college, please update your results on Naviance. Click the pencil

and

2. Indicate which college you are attending.

3. Make a plan to meet with your counselor about next steps in Financial Aid planning, registration, houseing, etc.
