Vance County Water District Water Users Agreement

The undersigned property owners, by submitting this agreement, request for their subject property identified below to be connected to the public water supply system of the Vance County Water District, and upon the installation of water supply lines for the service of my identified property below, we further agree to the following;

1. The property to be served and the owners of the property are:

2. To pay $1,600 connection fee, $195 water meter fee and a security deposit of $150 ($1,945 total - check or money order). The post construction connection fee is effective August 1, 2020 except in the Phase 1B area.

3. In addition to the above, no later than 90 days from the date of this agreement, but upon connection if the same is earlier than 90 days, pay a minimum monthly water bill of approximately $30 per month regardless of water connection, usage or volume as well as additional charges for actual water usage. The combination of these two components of the bill is estimated to total approximately $60.00 per month for the average household usage. NOTE: These estimated amounts are as of January 1, 2017. The actual amounts may have been increased, and are subject to be increased as determined in accordance with the VCWD's policies and procedures.

4. This account will be subject to all current and future changes of the Vance County Water District policies, rates and rate increases.

5. All required permits for installation and connection to the system are not included with this agreement and are separate and in addition to this agreement.

I understand that executing this Water Users Agreement is a binding contract, and that I will be billed monthly even if I am not connected and/or have no water usage.
