Born September 28, 1960 in Worcester, Massachusetts. Married with one son and one daughter.

Teaching Interests:

Lectured separate courses in human, cultural, urban, and economic geography as well as courses in quantitative methods and geographic thought. Topical interests include race and ethnicity, population, urban planning, transportation. Regional interests include North America and Europe.

Research Interests:

Urban and regional ethnicity, dynamics of residential segregation, urban economies, concepts of nationalism, transportation.
