Our study showed that LES pressure was reduced to approximately 10-15 mmHg. Additionally, a high incidence of dysperistalsis and hiatal hernia was shown by esophageal high-resolution manometry and GI endoscopy. High-resolution manometry had a greater sensitivity than endoscopy for diagnosis of hiatal hernia in this study. ................
