Middle School High School

The Mathematics department prides itself on providing a wide range of courses which vary in depth of coverage and level of challenge.  By virtue of this structure, we believe each student will be able to find a progression that is most appropriate.

The flowchart below indicates the typical paths students follow from one course to the next. In order to be considered for possible advancement, students will be required to fill out the appropriate paperwork with their Dean prior to June 1 preceding the school year of the advancement. These students will be required to get their current math teacher’s recommendation and pass a qualifying exam the week before the Fall semester to demonstrate their level of preparedness for the advancement. In some cases, summer school course work will also be required.
